Wondering in the 2nd period of Game 5 is the one in which Winnipeg takes control of this series.Preds are mentally weak.

There aren't any. Tell me how the Kings are going to compete for a cup with the top 2 centers they have now, because they haven't done it for four seasons.
So, why should the Kings hang on to an asset in Carter they can use to improve the team over the next 10-12 seasons?
10-12 years? By that thinking, just think how much they could get for Kopitar. You honestly believe they'll get all these high end prospects and picks for him? No team is going to trade a 22 year old potential 25 goal scorer and 1st round picks.
By trading Carter , you may as well forget the playoff for the next 4-5 years. But hey, look at these 2nd/3rd line prospects that are finally show potential in Ontario.
I actually think Dean either would have picked Doughty #1 overall, or traded the pick to move down one spot maybe two and taken Doughty there. There were 4 defensemen taken in picks 2-5, and some teams liked Pietrangelo and Bogosian more than Doughty.
It would have been interesting to see the wheeling a dealing that may or may not have happened, but the Kings definitely got exactly what they needed in the 2008 draft.
Well, the last 4 years the Kings have ONE playoff win. But hey, look they had Kopitar, Carter, Doughty, and Quick on the roster, so it's all good, right?
Same. All the teams I dislike are still winning. Tampa Bay, Washington, Vegas/San Jose. Only team I don't mind is Winnipeg. Hope they don't choke it to Nashville.Well ****, there goes my favorite east coast team. Oh well

What’s unlikable about Tampa? That they’re talented?
I think the biggest nuisance to me is the over glorification of Steve Yzerman before he's won anything (as a GM).
Considering what he started with, it’s a deserving accolade. Similar to what Lombardi started with and turned the team into, except Tampa is yet to win the Cup with him as GM. Though they did come close in 2015.
