I've ragged on McNabb as hard as anyone this year but it's clear he was just miscast as a #2 rather than an actually terrible d-man.

I know I know, as soon as the deal was made I was afraid of this and it might come into reality.

It was Deslauriers and Fasching for McNabb and 2 2nds, I believe. The 2 seconds we then traded to get Gaborik. Without Gaborik, probably no second cup.

Fasching is my favorite non-Kings prospect. Rooting for him. But I make that trade 10/10 times.
