I'm just scared that history repeats itself and Oilers might go on to win 4 cups in a row with all these super star players and we suck

I'm sure Chia will trade one or two of the youngsters this off season for immediate help and difference makers.

If this happens, McDavid will get traded here.

Welp, no help from NJ tonight, naturally. ****ing wrecked them the other night.

Especially since KESler is allowed to hipcheck Kinkaids face

3 goals in the 2nd so far. Just shows how much we didn't care for that game, and the Ducks do.

edit: 4 goals. Its 4-1 Ducks, and they're making this guy look like a back up, oh wait...

I gave up on it when it became apparent the Devils were satisfied after the other night and couldn't be assed to put forth the same heart.

We broke another team and it came back to bite us. 29 blocked shots the other night, only 8 tonight, and you can tell--no effort to get in shooting lanes after guys were laying down three deep to set blocks on us the other night.

"Ducks are not blowing out the Devils, they have almost the same number of shots"

3 of the 4 goals would've been blocked in LA. Nobody got into any lanes and just let guys just fired away and then pick up the garbage.

Guy in the crowd wins a car because CAL scores on pp, sweats it out as STL challenges. But good goal, and good giveaway.

wow, how much would have have sucked.

I didn't think there would be residual 2012 ******** from the team is all.

Not many guys from the 2012 club still around. Gionta, Henrique, Greene, Larsson (healthy scratch those finals), and Zajac.

Before the Saturday game, a Kings fan asked me about Kinkaid. I described him as Jekkyl and Hyde. Yesterday was the latter. More or less a carbon copy of a game the previous week against Pittsburgh.

Luckily, next time the Kings will have NYR 2nd of a back-to-back and BOS 2nd of a back-to-back and 3rd in 5, though the Kings will be in the midst of 6 in 9. (nice)

Oh absolutely, I noticed the roster turnover bigtime. But the effort on the ice was vastly different...deep into a road trip cross-country can do that too I guess, but it was night and day on the ice and by the goalie too. Kinkaid certainly had more bodies laying down for him vs. the Kings

A team defense focused on shot blocking is going to lead to erratic results and injured players.

Turn on the TV.

Watch Karlsson intercept a pass in the neutral zone and quickly move it up to the forwards, very nice. ...then immediately makes a terrible read, an ill advised Hoffman pass gets picked off, and he's trapped up ice as the Wild score.

Sens fans immediately make excuses.

So... Random timing but Kings are up after the Rangers in the CanesPlayoffbandwagon thread.. Has anyone done any scouting, or know who usually makes the selection?

Never seen Doughty take over an overtime like Klownersson.

It sucks that we are forced to create this Doughty - Karlsson rivalry, because EK is fun to watch, but it would be nice if Senators fans admitted that Karlsson is basically a forward.

Three threads about Kings' players on the main board....
