Getzlaf must have gotten a hair transplant from Mike Richards.

From a points standpoint, worse possible outcome.

Maybe in April. Who cares in November?

Actually, from a points standpoint, best possible outcome once it entered OT. Anaheim is going to be there in April, Arizona won't be. You know that.

The points turn out to be the same regardless of month... They like carry over through the whole seasons.

exactly ! as if months matter when it comes to mathematically tallying up points!

lol @ human emotions taking over rationality

As I said, ANA was always going to get the one point, and ultimately we are fortunate ANA doesn't get the two points, considering the 5-on-3 late in the game and the onslaught. If Lindbäck doesn't stand on his head that entire third period, ANA wins by three goals.

If you think ARI is going to be right there in April, go ahead and state your case right now, scryan.

Okay, this is the second time I've seen BB as red as a pomegranate after the game.

Either his blood pressure medicine isn't working or the tanning machine is working real well.

Or he is just pissed as hell.

I think the other time is when the team gave up that 3-goal lead against Dallas.

Yeah but as far as
"Who cares in November?"
They will have those points going into April too. Doesn't matter what month you get your points in. Only how many you get.

So what?

ARI is going to be around 85 points in April no matter what. They aren't a playoff team. Their win today is a "feel good" win for the team, but it means absolutely nothing when you know they aren't going to be in the last 16.

Unless you want to go ahead and declare them right now that they end up in the top 3 in the Pacific, or even a wild-card entry, put your vCash where your mouth is. :D

You twisting things around and trying to start stupid new arguments doesn't really change the original point... I never said a thing about arizona, not sure why thats what your focusing on.

Dunno how your trying to turn it into an argument. It isn't one. It doesn't matter that the point the Ducks pick up is in November. Its +1 to their point total. Them losing in OT to an insignificant team and still gaining a point is the same in November as it is at any other point in the season.

Unless you wanna declare different right now? Put your vcash where your mouth is? :naughty:

If the western conferences keeps playing the way they do, especially the central division, 85 might be enough for 3rd place in the pacific....with no one from the pacific getting a wild card spot.

It's pretty clear the point of my argument was that Arizona was never going to be there in April. You even quoted two of my posts that made that point.

Not sure why you are the way you are sometimes, scryan. Sometimes you are one of my favorite posters and sometimes you just get a hair up your ass and want to argue for no apparent reason. In any event, I'm done with this stupid discussion.

Glad that ANA was limited to one point. Maybe that might make a difference in April when the Ducks and the Kings (hopefully) are fighting it out for a division title.
