Seeing that article makes me wonder why would Lucic want to play in Vancouver. So what if that's where he is from. They're a garbage team with a bleak future, they have brutal media and fans that burn their own city when they lose. If we can't keep him, he'd be better off signing almost anywhere else.

Totally different track of thought here but bummer...Ducks aren't playing Chris Stewart anymore. I was hoping to god he'd be in the lineup for our games

He's actually who I'm doing the video on. Some of the things he does are just incredible. If anything, though, I do think he lacks a little bit of what I would call "danger sense."

I'm not going to provide commentary on the video (I'm so far behind in making them - an illness in the family followed up by me injuring my back then other unrelated health issues came up... so I'm just trying to crank them out). But if you want to check out the video (I'll link after I publish on Youtube), you'll see times where he fails to acknowledge the most dangerous player on the ice at times. It's something that will come with experience, but yeah, he's quite the talent.

Edit: Forgot to add I agree he would be a great fit on the blueline.

Edit edit: Below is the video I just published on Youtube.

Awesome, I'll check it out when I'm not on a mobile device. A lot of the things he does offensively reminds me of Klingberg, being a risk taker who can recover because of his extraordinary skating ability.

He'll wind up being a top 10-15 selection though. I get what you mean about "danger sense" though, that's something Muzzin really struggled with early on and worked on it. Helps having John Stevens coaching him. Darryl Sydor had similar struggles before figuring things out in Dallas.

I just hope wherever Juolevi ends up, it isn't within the division. He's going to be a deadly threat on the PP, especially if he ends up on the Ducks. Yuck.

Mr. Norris himself with one of the most brutal defensive plays you'll ever see. Just stood there in the crease shooting beaver in the crowd and allows an easy Chicago goal.

I know, i saw that too. Does he know it's ok to tie up your man in front of the net? He looked like he had no idea what to do.

Ducks think they can sign every garbage player and turn them around.

Pretty much this. It's becoming painfully obvious Uncle Bob had a very bad offseason, letting some glue pieces go and losing what I consider a major piece (Beleskey) and signing a couple of plugs in Bieksa and Stewart. Very bad moves, taking a team that was one game away from the SCF to presently being an afterthought in the Pathetic.

Although I still think they get their act together to make the playoffs, it now appears they are going to struggle just to get in.

That's what's so great about Doughty. He can work on his shot from the point and one-timer and improve his game that way and still improve every year. EK will never be a good defender because he simply doesn't have the will or instincts without the puck to be good at it. Drew's hockey instincts are ridiculously advanced in all facets.

While I can see his optimism, his team just doesn't have it to win it all, too many disjointed parts starting with their captain.

Boudreau on Ducks trailing 1st-place Kings: 'The last few years it's been us. But it's a different way to get to where you want to get to but it's worked good for L.A. for the most part." Kings seeded 8th seed in 2012, 3d in Pacific in 2014. 'Whole thing is to get in."

And Karlsson with another beauty in his own end.

And his team isn't near as talented as either of those Kings teams, either. And that's besides the fact that his team has garbage leadership on the bench and ice.

That team, like so many high octane Ruff teams in the past, is a lot of smoke and mirrors. Second round exit at best.

Regular season high scoring is one thing, doing it in the playoffs is another. You just can't make the same risky plays to score goals.Teams will break down your offensive and counter it over a 7 game series.

But but he did get an assist on that play. Assist on the the Hawks empty netter. But seriously though it's been said and argued forever about his defense yet people still claim he's the best DEFENSEMAN and no one is even close. I'm actually a fan of EK now that I've seen him play more but to claim he's the BEST D-Man is outright stupid. And another minus game today. I think that's 14 games of being a minus player compared to Drew who has 8. I still want him on my team of course.

Karlsson would be a totally different player under Sutter. Karlsson plays without any regard for what happens behind him and that doesn't happen under DS.

Well deserved. He was one the best players on the ice for Chicago tonight.

Not just me this time. National game is bad for him. So butter soft all
Over the ice. Empty net could have Come sooner with that cute "defense" he played
On toews circling the net.

One of his worse games to be sure but that defense was honestly 100% a typical game for him. THAT is why I rain on him so much
