My god the hard on Sens fans have for Karlsson is ridiculous. Can't have an oppion cos stats you know.

If the playoffs were to start today, Ottawa would miss the playoffs.

So the possibility of Karlsson winning the Norris is their Stanley Cup. Don't take away the only joy they have in life.

Seriously though, what else do they have? There's sure as **** nothing else going on in Ottawa. He's their deity.

Not so fast.

Ottawa is its nation's capitol, so there is this and a lot more like them.

The legilators, lobbyists, and other hacks have to have something to occupy themselves.

Do the captains pick the teams? Scott should pick a full team of goons (if he can find any) and go to town on the other division's superstars.

The Doughty sarcasm/hyperbole on this board is getting a bit absurd if you ask me. So people don't think as highly of him as you do, why does it bother you guys so much? I get that some of you really want to see him win the Norris. I can understand that but I'm not sure why you guys care about the opinion of some functional Pejorative Slurs on other boards.

Who says they are functional?

Jones getting pulled after 2 periods against WPG and my hometown boy Armia scoring 1st career goal against the Sharks.

Not too shabby.

Blake Wheeler with an obvious trip of a Shark, then asks the ref "for what?" and complains all the way to the box.

If I'm the ref I give an extra two minutes. **** these prima donnas.

I thought that was pretty funny.

Of course, the Shark player probably deserved it...

And Jones is pulled in the 3rd.
3-1 Jets

My god the Jets love to take penalties.I think that 's 5.

Sharks have taken the night off so far. This is a "kick the team's ass" goalie pull because Jones was doing ok enough.

Meanwhile, Stalock is just awful this year. Even money he lets one in before DeBoer can get Jones back on the ice.

You're right about Jones. It's not like there was anything he could do about the first goal. Poor, poor power play by Sharks. 2nd one is debatable altough Vlasic got beat too easily. Perreault shot on the 3rd goal was just perfect.

Sharks sucking at home and pretty much destroying it on the road is a mystery to me.

A. A lot of fans quit on the Sharks after the Kings stoned them in 2014.
2. The Sharks got serious with the necessary rebuild, signing future all-star John Scott and firing their color guy, Drew Remenda.
c. The Sharks "nobly" kept season ticket prices the same after that incredible disappointment. (Note that if they had raised season ticket prices there might have been a riot at SAP.)
iv. However, to celebrate NOT making the playoffs the following season, they DID raise season ticket prices.
V. As a result, the fans are staying away in droves. The players look up at all those teal seats imitating fans and play accordingly at home.

Anyway, that's my theory.

lol.

also the Nucks are so gawdawful this year that none of my friends are really paying much attention to the league at all this year.

I don't care. Played a super enjoyable game of Catan in a room full of Nucks fans through the 5-0 win earlier in the week and I tried not to be too much of an ass. I don't hate them as much as a lot of ya'll (parents team, friends etc). Damn were they cocky though from 08-12ish.

And we're the bandwagoners? :naughty:

Now it all makes sense!

Ouch for Canada.

2nd through 6th in the Pacific is separated by 3 points. It would be two if the Ducks could have won in the SO yesterday or even get one or two points against the jets tomorrow.

I can't remember standings this close this far into the season.
