I'm legit angry that the NHL has kept international play from us for so long. McDavid is well over 1000 pts into his career and hasn't even played on Team Canada with Crosby yet.

We need to do this again soon, with Russia included (call them Athletes From Russia or something if the war is still ongoing). Marchenko and Voronkov should be important players on that team now.

Me too, and Finland has been robbed of the most exciting generation of hockey players since Selänne, S. Koivu etc. :( The last true best-on-best tournament was Sochi 2014... at least it seems we'll get one in 2026 but that's a 12 year gap, which is ridiculous.

He's just completely regressed since leaving here and it doesn't help that Chicago is a flaming dumpster fire. He's just turned into a guy who could look good on a good team but doesn't help make a bad team better. Werenski has totally grown into being a guy you can build a defense around. Jones is not based on his play in Chicago.

Agreed, Since the two of them split it really became clear that Zach can be great with an average or above Partner. Jones needs a great partner to be good to great.

Good for him. I hope Elvis gets one eventually. We don’t bitch and moan when a defenseman ices the puck with an empty net. I’m all for any goalie trying to get one when an opportunity arises.

So just to keep the fire burning what if Chcago ate 3mm of his salary or even up for Severson? If teams are calling someone must see some value still there. Also assumes Chicago wants to trade him.

This is going to sound heretical to some but I think Severson might be a better player than Seth Jones.
