Ace Rimmer
Stoke me a clipper.
I thought he might, then I found out he's a sophomore.Anyone who thought Fox was signing this summer is completely clueless.
Yeah, he might leave with a year left, but not two.

I don't understand why so many of the suggestions are so stupid.People shooting down the suggestion != not understanding that it is just that.
Even then, I'm not so sure. You don't sink that kind of money into a Harvard education to leave early. Fox would have to be 100% sure he is going to be a star for him to leave Harvard early. Spending 4 years getting a world-class eduction won't hamper his development as a hockey player.I thought he might, then I found out he's a sophomore.

No he isnt. he's rather small. As an isles fan id easily passFox is worth a top five pick imo. He is just as promising as Boqvist.
I guess you could start by saying why Flames do it?
What common sense?Common sense.
Detroit would be crazy to do it though.

Adding a first round pick in a year where you have no first, second, or third for the cost of an AHL-caliber goaltender who might pan out into a decent backup if everything goes right? It's a pipe dream.
Calgary does not have too many goalie prospects (they are always question marks)
and who knows what that 1st pick turns into.

He might be but I'm not a fan of his either. He's an offensive catalyst but not much of a defennseman. To me, there are 5 prospects you take over Fox in this draft. Dahlin, Svechnikov, Zadina, Tkachuk, and Bouchard. Then it's between Fox, Hughes and Boqvist.
Adam Fox will be a Ghostisbehere talent. I'll say it until I'm blue in the face.
Hmm.. you guys are really high on Fox.

He sees the game as well as any defenseman I've seen. Like, his hockey IQ is on a Lidstrom level. His hands are excellent too, right there with Flames like Brodie, Kylington, and Giordano able to execute in-tight.
He just can't skate very well. Lacks escapability from forecheckers. He fixes that one area to be NHL-average and he will be a star player in the NHL.
