Arizona Coyotes Lounge XXV

I think that jersey could look interesting with a simplified version of the kachina head on it, using the three colors from the jersey.

it's subtle, but it's the Bauer logo (you can see it on the little label on the waistline too)

Bauer logo and symbol, meaning, history, PNG ... an attempt to explain it that I'm not sure i understood, but there you go...

"two crisscrossed hockey sticks. The sticks are white. They are placed inside a blue box with a gradient effect, which adds some dimension"

Ummmmmm....... Huh? I can't make sense of that either. Don't see another Bauer logo online that fits the description either.

The jersey is cool, but the logo looks like me learning to make a star in Kindergarten.

Anyone have a hookup for a cheap suit? I need one for a wedding. I NEVER wear suits for work. Always just a blazer and slacks. Or an Oxford with a tie and slacks. Never a suit. But the wedding requires formal attire. So I want to be cheap.

Welcomed a new member of our family this week, a 3 and a half year old pit bull mix named Pickles.

And everything Fanatics makes, the designs are awful. It's like $90 to ship a hat to Canada.

(I think the above ones are designed by that Coyotes in-house team that Meruelo Jr works with).

I've had to wear suits for work my entire career.
Go with separates. In other words, go to a place like Burlington and buy a jacket, and then get matching pants. It's the build a suit option vs. wasting tons of money on an actual suit that's already matched, that you then have to get fitted, and it's sold by a douche earning a commission. That's such a waste of money and nobody can tell anyway, as long as the colors match. Black, grey and blue are easy colors to match. Get a dress shirt and tie separately too.

Steve Peters (of all people) gave me a link to a website he’s used for ultra cheap, throw-away suits. I got a 3-piece (not wearing the vest anyway - haha) with a tie and a shirt for $100 and $20 shipping is getting it to me in under a week. I am NOT expecting quality - Lol. But Petey said that he’s known NHL coaches who’ve used this site in a pinch when they needed a cheap suit quick (this site overnights suits - lol).

Last time I wore a suit was my wedding nearly 12 years ago. That suit still fits me, but it’s black. And this wedding wants “spring colors”. So I expect to wear this suit exactly one time.

I’m in sales. And do the whole fly out and present to the board, and fly out to negotiate with the CFO thing. And I fly out for conferences. I’ve presented at conferences. Client dinners. All that. But I never wear a suit. Blazer+Oxford+Slacks. Or Oxford+Tie+Slacks.

I could wear suits. I feel like it’s usually 50/50 between the blazer/separates look and the full blown suit look. I’m just a cheapskate. I like to only buy clothes I can wear for work and also in real life. I can wear the oxfords untucked with jeans and I can wear the slacks with polos/t-shirts. I only need the two blazers. Haha.

What are oxfords?
A web search suggests they are dress shoes, but if that's so, then how would one wear them "untucked"?

Button up, collared shirt. “Dress Shirt”. Oxfords are different because they’re woven rather than shiny. So a little more reasonable to wear with jeans

Kinda like how a sport coat (which is what I actually have, and not blazers) is different from a suit jacket. An Oxford doesn’t have the very dressy collars or cuffs or the very dressy shine.

Also, I said slacks but I’m actually wearing chinos. Again, because you can wear those to a backyard Barbeque. They aren’t really dress pants. No pleats or anything.

All of that, again, is born from being a cheapskate and wanting to maximize the versatility of a clothing item. Can I “get away with” wearing these things together in a business meeting but then also separately to the bowling alley with my kids. Haha.

Hats are $55 now? All of sports is turning into a hobby for rich people. Tickets, merch…all of it. Crazy.

The designer stuff through the official team shop yes.

Similar hats through somewhere like Just Sports or Arizona Sports Store they run $30-40.

Goodwill, man. My wife found a green third jersey there for $5.

I wore it to a game a while back, and traded it with the guy sitting next to me for a red Coyotes hoodie. I've heard about that transaction from her since, and it has never been in a positive way.

As we were driving around one day, a newly divorced friend of mine asked if I would mind stopping at Goodwill so he could see if he could find something for his young kids. I couldn't believe what people throw out. Some people's shit is other people's gold.
