Arizona Coyotes Lounge XXV

Well, if you had the right people and policies in place you would NOT have to throw money at the problem, instead of turning your back and sending money to other countries. Clean your own doorstep before others. Why do we keep on throwing money at other countries problems before we solve our own?
FIFY - I'm guessing you meant to include the negative above?

I don't entirely disagree but solving the homeless problem is a lot more complex than "elect x instead of y".

The longer term concern is what happens when this problem continues to fester? I really wonder what the future holds.:skeptic:

For the past week there has been a lot of noise downtown. Choppers come out and circle the sky in the 7th Ave & Roosevelt area and I keep hearing what sounds like gun shots or firecrackers. This has been happening every night.

Check the local news sites to see if anything is going on but never find anything.

Anyone else living or working downtown noticing this? Seems like it all happens at 7pm or later.

Most of it is fireworks.

Get it all the time out in Tolleson. Wait until tomorrow night and then listen to them go off we’ll past 2am.

My daughter lives downtown, mentioned some crazy explosion like noise a few nights ago while walking her dog.

Last night was miserable. Assholes out from 10pm to 2am with fireworks, M-80's and revving their shit car engines. Smoke billowing non-stop and a mass off people that don't even live in the neighborhood in the street and blocking an intersection.

I went to confront them and decided to turn back halfway there. I was too hot and there was a zero point zero chance punches would not be thrown. It was going to be a lose-lose for all involved.

This was not the normal experience in my neighborhood.

Last night seemed extra bad. Seemed like more fireworks than normal. 2023 was a tough year for most.

Does anyone have experience getting a key fob cut and programmed with a local Ace Hardware (or another location). My fobs are dead. Replacing the battery does nothing. Dealer said they are not "sending or receiving a signal" and wanted to charge me $412 per fob to cut and program.

Hell no. Worst case I will use all manual function like the good ol' days.

My fob broke a month ago but still works. The plastic piece that attaches to my key ring broke so now I have to carry that separately. I ordered a replacement fob on Amazon but programming it is a bitch. I've watched several YouTube videos where you have to do all these crazy steps like open the door, put the key in, now shut the door, take the key out, pump the break, close the door, raise your right hand while holding a lit candle, take the key out, put it back in and repeat these steps twice. I tried all that crap about five times and it didn't work. F-it.

I'm giving Ace a shot on Saturday. They cut and program. Going for 1 key to test the waters. Trunk does not have a manual lock which is annoying. Pulling out all stops before going to dealer. I'd prefer not to give them any more money period. Giving away free hot dogs on Saturdays does not make up for going on 4 years of terrible service.

Here's two services that will come to you:

JJ's Auto Locksmith, 623-780-2787 - I've been using these guy for over a decade (I manage an auto repair/tire shop). The father passed away a couple years ago and the son took over. Still great service. They can do everything from make keys to replacing your ignition lock cylinder or just reprogramming. They are really good and fast.

AZ Car Keys, 480-591-0275. A guy that works for them used to have his company vehicle serviced at my location. Every time he'd come, he'd leave me some cards and I gave them out really fast. They just do keys/fobs. He told me most of his business came from dealerships where he'd go make a bunch of keys regularly for their used car lots. I haven't seen him in over a year so he might not work there anymore but if he does, he was really cool. At that time, they were about 1/3 what the dealer charged plus the convenience of coming to you.

Hope that helps.
