It was the type of game that suits him, he didn't have to spend very much time in the defensive end which is where his flaws are exposed. But kudos to him, he had a great game. Nice to have another option on the back end.

He is a complimentary player. Put him out with a good dman and a solid system and he has the tools to be an acceptable player. I liken him to a more mobile Davis Dwhiskey or a much more reliable Randy Jones with a little less O skills.

Nice steady win- not sure why Gaborik needed to be out there with so little time left after the hit he took. Surely time in the quiet room would not have hurt him. And Richards down to 10.09 TOI only to be exceeded by stone hands Clifford at 9.46. he must have told Sutter to FO at some point in the last 20 games. Even I'm believing they have to do something with him to give him a fresh start somewhere, short of making him a healthy scratch. He cannot be happy.
