Well, I didn't finish watching the game until 7 pm so it would have been pretty stupid to start one at that point.

It was the type of game that suits him, he didn't have to spend very much time in the defensive end which is where his flaws are exposed. But kudos to him, he had a great game. Nice to have another option on the back end.

I agree! He played well! I for one never thought they were going to play Schultz!! It wasn't really a test though for the Kings! And, ironically, if McBain hadn't made a couple nice puck moves on two different power plays, this game might have been the test the Kings didn't expect, and if McBain had been scratched, he would have missed the test, but since he played, there wasn't a test!! Am I losing anybody here?

Well the end of the Calgary Vancouver game really would have annoyed you. The Calgary D stood back in their zone with the puck. They wouldn't move it forward, and Vancouver stood out in center ice. The fans were booing.

Calgary isn't going far averaging 1 point for every 8 games.

The fact that both these teams were more than satisfied with obtaining 1 point tells me all I need to know about either team. The Pacific Division's top three spots will most assuredly be occupied by California teams once again by season's end.
