Rangers fans have the lowest expectations out of any fanbase. Being better than the Devils and Islanders has been good enough to keep their fans happy.

This is a great way to tell everyone your age without actually revealing your age. Anyone older than ~30 would have a pretty different timeline of Devils vs Rangers...

It's okay to be obsessed with the Devils. It doesn't make you a lesser person or a lesser Rangers fan, just an unhappy one if the Devils are good. Same applies vice versa. Why bother making choices that make you unhappy?

As a Rangers fan, I have no problem admitting the Devils are good. The Rangers had to come back to beat them the other night, so it wasn't like it was an easy win. I don't blame Devils fans for feeling arrogant this season, they haven't had much to cheer about for the past decade since their run to the Cup in 2012. Like all teams, they're just in a slump right now, they'll be fine. There's too many bad/inconsistent teams for them to miss the playoffs at this point.

It's also been borderline impossible to not think about a team that emails me every single morning. I hope the $1 they spent on buying my email address from Ticketmaster was worth it.
