Too funny. Me and the missus went to Paris last fall and toured the Louvre. I commented how hard life must have been in the 15th and 16th centuries, everyone looked miserable. I later got on my Twitter feed and thought, everyone will be saying the same about us in a few hundred years.

This reminds me of something I saw/learned a few years ago. We tend to think of Victorian Era/turn of the 19th century people as really serious because of their photographs. They always always always look so stern in them. But that's because they had to sit still for so long to take them. It was simply easier not to smile for a picture and instead go with an expression lacking ay emotion.

When you see old photos of them smiling, though, they feel and look no different from us. Completely changes the image of that time period and its people.

I am not a dog person (who knew) but I've always loved watching the Westminster show and those dog obstacle events shows (I can't remember what they're called, it's still early in the AM),
Dog agility competitions :)

Lots of youtube videos. The small dogs are always cute. Border collies are incredible. And some of the blooper reels where the dog decides to go off course for... reasons.... are also funny lol

Wife and I are headed to Denver sans kids in late July. Besides Red Rocks, what does anyone recommend on seeing / doing while we are there (5 days)?

I saw this story on GMA yesterday and found out tonight that Ryan is on the HF Avs board. Small world.

What an incredible story and so glad he's on the road to recovery

Check out his post here:

@Alicat - WCVB didn't try to sugarcoat this mess as it involves their extended family

No they did not and good.

His wife is not on the eye opener this morning. AJ Burnett is doing traffic.

I was wondering when this would all come to ahead. His wife has been under siege on the Facebook comments of stories for months thanks to readers of Turtleboy..

My english mastiff before Chibby was named Neely, and he was even bigger - topped out at 220lbs. There's video of him somewhere doing agility competitions - you want humour? Check out an EM doing agility. I die every time, lmao

I was just at a consult in the next town over. As we are doing a walk through of the space, I notice their 3 dogs outside--I will often ask that animals be crated or put outside, it's just too distracting to try and work in the home with them there.
Anyway, the husband is there and the dog is sort of jumping on the glass slider door. He sticks his foot out...not super hard, but hard enough to tap the dog on the nose and the dog backs away.
I was like....wth just happened? I thought it was unfortunate behavior with me be a professional visiting the home.

I did eventually tell him it was fine to let the dogs in...he jumped a little to say hello, but overall not an aggressive dog at all.
