Got my EU passport today. Feels good.
All of it in retirement. Nothing imminently, waiting for a better gig to present itself in the short term to afford travel. What part of EU do you plan to travel?
Sick. Lets get married and get up out of here.Got my EU passport today. Feels good.
You couldn't afford me sweetheart.Sick. Lets get married and get up out of here.
I mean, not much of a point...3 years since I lost my sense of taste and smell. Don't think I'm getting a cake for that, though.
Have you ever had tests ran to find out why?3 years since I lost my sense of taste and smell. Don't think I'm getting a cake for that, though.

Okay thats good. Forgot about COVID causing that permanently. I know sometimes comes with neurological stuff. Was my dads first symptom. Glad they ruled that out.Nothing in-depth, but yeah. I’ve gone to an ENT and it’s just a rare, but known, side effect of one of the earlier strains of Covid. Some people lost their sense for a short time, some for a long time, and a pisspoor few seemingly lost it permanently.
I do apologize in advance for those of you who are against it, but I started hunting last year. Got a doe last year and that was all.
This year, archery season sucked. Barely saw anything. But then rifle season rolled around this past weekend, and I got my first ever buck! Super exciting moment, and those who hunt will understand why I feel the need to share this lol!
It was a younger buck, but it was a 16-pointer. Just an epic one, especially for the area I hunt & it being my first buck.
Makes up for a horrible archery season and that stupid poison ivy I got during that lol!
I see no issue with hunting as long as meat goes to good use (Eaten by hunter/family or donated) or it is for population control (Or when there is outbreak of disease and prevention of spread becomes priority)
Hunting like we have in Midwest is normal and has always been part of life here.
What led you to get into this? I assume by your statement your new to hunting with last year your first or am I misreading it?
Eh, as long as we're not talking about big game hunting endangered species, folks are free to hunt as they like. It's not like there's a moral repugnancy surrounding fishing, after all.
Kill all the jackass deer you want. Not for me personally, but would be pretty hypocritical for me to take issue with that as I like fishing and I somehow doubt that catch and release is remotely humane.
That being said, hunting with more than a rifle or a shotgun seems pretty unsporting to me (not saying that you said you were using anything beyond that). I'm unsure about my opinion regarding scopes on rifles, too, as I think a naked eye versus naked eye dynamic seems like it's more reasonable to me versus taking a shot from a way's away (though there's obviously an incredible technical skill to that kind of shooting).
