Maybe he realized rayp was phonetically too similar to rape and/or rapey? Is RayG some way cooler version of RayP? Or is RayP going through some sort of identity crisis?

No not everyone. Just the vast majority of my past experience with people who sold cars. They tended to suck.Your assumption is anyone involved in a car dealership is scum because some use predatory loans?
As someone who has 2 pretty good friends in the industry I’ll tell you you’re wrong.
People who actually pay their bill will get good rates from real dealerships.
People who don’t (charge offs and such) don’t get taken advantage of, they get what they deserve. They by previous actions create greater risk for the lender.
Also if your only choice is a “buy here pay here” you did something so no real dealership will touch you.
Hope you don’t find the post condescending.
Which do you use for iPhone? Please tell me you’re not using this website, especially on mobile, without an ad blocked.
You said it in a much simpler way than I'm capable of.If a large part of your occupations training revolves around psychological manipulation, chances are you can't argue it's a very moral line of work.

How 'bout Ray J?Is RayG some way cooler version of RayP? Or is RayP going through some sort of identity crisis?
That is every job that has ever existed. If a large part of your occupations training revolves around psychological manipulation, chances are you can't argue it's a very moral line of work.
That is every job ever.
That's my experience and I've had family hold that job. This is total bullshit. Every single time I've gone to purchase a vehicle, I've had the dealership try to give me a shit loan from some shit loan company that their dealership pushes. And I have impeccable credit and very little debt. When I bought my truck the finance asshole presented me with a rate double what I actually qualify for. Not predatory scammers? Give me a break.
Not to mention their warranty "scams". Selling third party warranties for vehicles that actually qualify for manufacturer extended warranties... that they push as "bumper to bumper", but are FILLED with exceptions that they won't pay for.
The overwheing majority of people that work in sales/finance at dealerships are scum. The overwhelming majority of dealerships actively f*** their customers. Hell, it's part of their strategy and business model.
Am I an uber cynic? Yes, because that is what life has dealt me.Your life perspective is not healthy, and it explains SO MANY of your struggles. You really need to be talking to someone.
Manipulating others then. And I say this coming from the nicest place you'll find anybody arguing with you. That is every job that has ever existed.
Isn't that the definition of "office/workplace politics?"Manipulating others then. And I say this coming from the nicest place you'll find anybody arguing with you.

That's a gross misunderstanding of how union gigs operate.Isn't that the definition of "office/workplace politics?"
You can't sit here and tell me with a straight face that the people that work hardest/are the best at their job get promoted or pay raises 100% of the time. I'm more likely to believe in a closer to meritocratic system in a union job.
It's based on seniority rather than performance metrics, right? I consider that more meritocratic because I think that performance metrics are BS. Except stuff like Sales, which is very objective, who is watching the watcher? That's a gross misunderstanding of how union gigs operate.
It's entirely seniority based. Merit means nothing. It's based on seniority rather than performance metrics, right? I consider that more meritocratic because I think that performance metrics are BS. Except stuff like Sales, which is very objective, who is watching the watcher?
I consider that more palatable because it's more motivating, at least to me. You KNOW that if you go in and put in your time, and do your job, you'll be rewarded. That is how it used to work and that is how it should work. Makes for better and happier workers. It's entirely seniority based. Merit means nothing.
