So your of us then?To me, that's every job that ever existed.
Your boss/company is. And whether you choose to acknowledge it or not, you working there contributes to someone getting taken advantage of somewhere. It's just how the system works.I'm not actively looking to take advantage of anybody else. Huge difference.
Yes, that person is me.Your boss/company is. And whether you choose to acknowledge it or not, you working there contributes to someone getting taken advantage of somewhere.
If you contribute to "business" you contribute to exploitation.
I'm paid an hourly wage for my labor. I'm not trying to convince anyone to sign a shit contract.Your boss/company is. And whether you choose to acknowledge it or not, you working there contributes to someone getting taken advantage of somewhere. It's just how the system works.
I think it's intellectually dishonest to assume that you're any better than the car salesman.
I don't begrudge anyone making an honest living. I begrudge the people that make the blatant exploitation possible.

Is this why you're still unemployed?Your boss/company is. And whether you choose to acknowledge it or not, you working there contributes to someone getting taken advantage of somewhere. It's just how the system works.

I'd say this is the kind of shit that contributes on a very large level...
Edit: not worth it.Blatant exploitation? Either you are just clueless to how things work or just think there must be a victim.
My boss is rewarded because I am good at what I do and I work my ass of as long as I have to get the job done on time and right. My boss works a lot less than I do. I am rewarded for the people who work for me being great at what they do and in a lot of cases are more intelligent than me. I work less hours than my team. I only try to hire people that are smarter than me because results f***ing matter. This habit works for many reasons, but it helps me grow and it helps me increase results for the company. I help they grow and try to empower/support them in all ways possible. You have to do the work before you are the person who leads the people who do the work.
People seem to forget that companies don't have a red cross on the front of the building and profit matters.
Companies are pyramid schemes in a way.
Your opinion feels similar to the kids out of school that feel like they should have the job two levels above they job they start in.
You don't get the profit without someone, somewhere geting f***ed.
So yes, I think in the current system there is always a victim somewhere.
Companies are pyramid schemes. You know what we call pyramid schemes? Fraud.
What you think of "getting f***ed" is actually called working not being a victim.
If companies were built like any shape but a pyramid they would not work and if they did work it would be extremely inefficient.
Small companies can be the exception obviously.
I work 60+ hours a lot weeks but I am hard worker and I am willing to work till 3am know my boss will present and get the high five. I am not getting f***ed, I just know how the world works and what it takes to be successful.
The stars on sports teams get the glory but the grinders do the grunt work, are they getting f***ed? No they get how teams work and you can treat work the same way
Your assumption is anyone involved in a car dealership is scum because some use predatory loans?Morality isn't subjective. If you need to do awful things to survive that's one thing. If you do awful things to make more money that's something else entirely.
This rebuild is clearly going to be more painful than I had hoped.Eddie O turned into a economics for dummies class
You make a good point about Konroyd, but I think these people should already have thousands of hours announcing/commentating before they step foot in a booth at the NHL level. There's something to experience I feel people are too harsh on. Those people have done announcing how often? Not a lot.
While Konroyd In and pre/post game has thousands of hours of experience... but all those replacements are bound to improve over time. Konroyd isn't changing after all this time though
HF on my phone keeps displaying very disturbing toenail fungus ads. Makes me want to vomit. Please make it stop.
