So with two straight wins under his belt how has our backup situation changed? He looked a little shaky to start but played really good last night afterwards. Do we still look for outside help? If so where? Do we keep him as our backup for the rest of the season?
For the record we have 3 back to backs remaining.
I just struggle with the idea of trading anything of worth for a backup goalie when theres 21 games left. If the cost isn't too great maybe, but I'm not giving anything substantial for one. Given our place in the standings, the only time I'd want Khudobin playing would be against CGY/EDM and TOR/OTT. Then maybe 1 more game in between.

Sportsnet touched on it during one of the intermissions, but there may not be much of a market to get backups anyway, given that many teams signed backups to two year deals specifically to expose for the expansion draft.
I'm rooting for Dobby, I hope he remains our backup and continues this level of play.
I hope Cassidy plays Khudobin next game....
it would be more integral to find a solid backup if this team had legitimate cup aspirations, but since they are a middling group that may or may not get into the playoffs, replacing khudobin with someone like keith kinkaid probably makes little sense.
Having back-up goaltending that does not have any confidence of the coaching staff and over-working your starter makes no sense for any NHL team, regardless of that team's cup aspirations.

yeah, i hear ya - was probably poorly worded. main point was unless you had a clear-cut upgrade on khudobin, what's the point? and he hasn't been the issue lately - last i checked, 4-0 under cassidy.
well it's Dobby time... if he wins ... just keep riding him
Tuuka take your time
I would say if he plays well and they win why wouldn't you stick with him.
who knows... after the Islanders game... Tuuka suddenly feels better
I still wouldn't go back to him if they win without him tonight.
Khudobin channelling his inner Tim Thomas tonight...
Even if Rask suddenly feels better...you got to ride Khudobin no?
