Reminded me of 2011 Tim Thomas at times last night. Not saying he is anywhere close to that, just stylistically, getting it done while giving me a damn heart attack.

It's a valid measure. I have to tell you I have no shortage of heart palpitations watching one of Rask's too. Lately, I have more with Rask than I do with Khudobin. :amazed:

Dobby ends up out of the crease way more often. i nearly die every single time.

He's a scrambler that's for sure not unlike Thomas.I find I don't close my Eyes every time a shot comes from the point though he seems to battle to find the puck, unlike Rask who I swear to God closes his eyes and hopes for the best.Yeah don't knowi if he can get Bruins into playoffs, but than not sure if Rask can either.Kind of a crap shot, think I would go with Dobby until he falters.

One of the greatest turnarounds within a season by a B in recent memory. He was absolutely incredible today. 41 saves on 43 shots, against an elite team, on the road, with a lot of pressure. Completely monstrous performance.

He deserves to have his own thread bumped up. Absolute rock solid performance...Doubted Cassidy's decision about Rask yesterday / Doby today, but no more!

Who knew Anton Khudobin would be the one to save Bruins' season.

goaltending is such a funny business. you see guys like devan dubynk and peter budaj pulled off the scrap heap all the time... other guys like pascal leclair and jim carey become crap overnight.

im glad i posted support for khubodin even in his darkest moments this year. even more glad hes turned the year around and validated my support. but honestly i will never understand goaltending

Have to think he will be resigned with how well he has played down the stretch. He might have saved the season with that performance vs the NYI. He also appears to be well liked by his teammates.

Probably his last start this season, maybe as a Bruin, depends on if LV takes him in the draft. If so, no better way to go out. Took over this game against one of the best teams in the league.

What a turnaround from him. Without his effort this past week, we're behind 2-3 teams in the race to the playoffs. Thanks Dobby!

There's no way LV is going to take him. There are some borderline starter quality goalies available, like Raanta and Darling. I guess they could take Dobby if they don't want to take anyone else from the Bruins. It's not exactly great selection for them.

Hell baby
1st half of the season he was playing like a fringe AHL starter

2nd half looks like his first stint here

INCREDIBLE game

I wish he played like this all season but I am happy and proud to see him pick himself up by the laces and play up to his level.

Thank you Doby for helping to turn this season around :handclap:

You are probably right but I wouldn't be opposed to seeing him get 1 more start .

what a story. he was hot garbage last year and no better this year until cassidy took over. a great guy, so nice to see, and i'm glad they didn't go out and acquire another backup like i was hoping.
