Take that info with a very large grain of salt, it’s not very accurateThis is off topic, but I think I'm most impressed with the Yotes bringing in $120 mil in a 5,000-seat arena! Edmonton being tops is great as well.

Based on the resource given, it's 30.4%That’s inaccurate, it was about 35% of revenues last time I looked.
Houston depends solely on Tilman Fertitia and whether he wishes to pay the price that the NHL wants for a team. They are the 1 place that can take a team immediately without any issues (that we know has expressed interest). SLC/Utah their home would be temporary til they get a new arena that is an NHL one without obstructed seats.They still charge relocation fees but I agree, this should be the easy out for the NHL.
Houston "Gets off easy" by getting a relocation rather than an expansion, and the fee is low because Houston is essentially bailing the league out from the Coyotes' disaster.
I can't image there's a great source for revenue of all 32 teams.Take that info with a very large grain of salt, it’s not very accurate
The NHL doesn't have a goalie crisis if they don't keep making goalie pads smaller, tbh.NHL doesn’t have a goalie crisis. More than enough talent for expansion
Ya like I said last time I looked, 2 more teams added since, so sounds about rightBased on the resource given, it's 30.4%
I think the Sabres, Canes, Blue Jackets, Senators, Devils, Leafs feel other wise.NHL doesn’t have a goalie crisis. More than enough talent for expansion
Forbes is not reliable at all when it comes to the NHL. They think that Mullet Arena has a seating capacity of 17,125. They're only guessing numbers.

Take good care of yourself and get lucky and live to 102 and your team may win 3 Cups in your lifetime.
Of course it makes sense the NHL will have more teams than other major American leagues because it treats Canada like a major market.
NBA: 1 Canadian team
NFL: No Canadian teams
MLB: 1 Candian team
NHL: 7 Canadian teams
I'm not sure how this battle of the two ownership groups will play out. I've known of Carter's attempt at getting a team for a few years, but it seems like the South Forsyth group is wayyy ahead of the process with the arena setup, county approval, etc.
I'll be going to the Public Participation Meeting to meet Krause and that ownership group next week and ask questions.
Yeah sure, the Montreal Maroons disappearance before the 2nd World War 86 years ago is 100% related to today's NHL.
The NHL doesn't have a goalie crisis if they don't keep making goalie pads smaller, tbh.
Honestly, can’t imagine it’s all that accurate. I actually wouldn’t think any general online source of team revenues is accurate.Ya like I said last time I looked, 2 more teams added since, so sounds about right
Would have been nice if resource used was listed.
The Atlanta Flames was far superior but, alas, they dun goofed.Can they please be the Thrashers again if they come back no changes.
If teams have 2-3 quality goaltenders, that doesn’t implicate a goaltending issue but rather teams have poor development.I think the Sabres, Canes, Blue Jackets, Senators, Devils, Leafs feel other wise.
Detroit saw the situation coming and was smart enough to get two quality goaltenders and Husso and run a three goalie system.
It’s more of a skill issue than a goalie issue, scoring is trending upwards and it’s not because goalies are “bad”The NHL doesn't have a goalie crisis if they don't keep making goalie pads smaller, tbh.
Not sure what the metro area has for rinks now. When I left there was Parkaire, Kennesaw, Gwinnet, and the Cooler. I know they put one up in Forsyth County somewhere near where I used to live. The major challenge with getting to Thrashers games at the time was the 40 minute drive
And the proposed Alpharetta location is in the center of almost all of them.The dump that was Parkaire has been gone for years. The current rinks are:
(1) the Atlanta Ice House, a brand new-ish one in Kennesaw;
(2) the Cooler, a two-sheet facility that is less than a mile from the proposed North Point Mall arena site;
(3) the Ice Complex in Cumming, which is one exit north of the planned site of The Gathering;
(4) Center Ice Arena in Sandy Springs, literally at the Roswell Road exit of 285; and
(5) the Ice Forum in Duluth, which was the Thrashers former practice facility.
Correct! Listen, I'm actually in favor of Atlanta getting a team and expect it to happen. That's one issue. An entirely separate issue is that in a 34 team league where only one of those teams wins a Cup at the end of the season, ALL OTHER THINGS BEING EQUAL any given team will win 1 Cup every 34 years. Now you can hope your franchise can manage more than that, but there are no guarantees. So in the average random fan's lifetime they may reasonably expect for their team to win 2 or 3 Cups, maybe 4 if they're really lucky (like me ). Them's the facts.Cups aren't awarded on a rotating basis.
