Put the spoon down, man. The Nutella won't make you feel better. Trust me, I know it's tasty, but that hazelnut devil will only bring you down.

'Mecca' of Hockey
now THAT is an honest and true comment. Leafs hate amongst even their most loyal fans runs pretty high. Doesn't help that the bar is so high these days, cuz they have a great team, a really great team, that has achieved nothing noteworthy besides an individual trophy or 2.

tough place to be in for a sports fan...wanting more and thinking it's deserved and not getting it.

There may be a good case for Toronto to give their highest paid players a significant salary haircut, given their marketing earning potential is generally pretty high, if not sky-high, here in Toronto. May take a decade or so for this theory to play out though, the current crop of 4 highest paid players out of the Top 11 in 2024-25 season will take some time to dissipate.
They have 4 offensive guys all similar styles. All 4 are making about atleast 11 million. 44 million together for 4 players. Especially in a cap league like this is ridic. Also doesn't help that the cap barely ever went up since all these guys signed.

Half the cap on 4 players then we wonder why other lines struggle. Then imagine when these stars have off nights. Double whammy. Too top heavy. Torso is bare, and Legs are thin little branches. It will always come crumbling down.
