That's awesome, you gotta love Lou.

I really enjoyed what he had to say, especially about not overreacting in terms of overhauling the roster due to the bizarrely unlucky shootout record.

I think it has to be Larsson personally.

See, the problem is there are two guys I would like to see paired with Larsson. Greene and Larsson is a solid, solid duo. That said, Gelinas is exponentially better with Larsson. In fact, being separated from Larsson last season is really what started his demise.

I guess for the team it would be better for Larsson and Greene to be paired together so ultimately that's how I hope it pans out. Larsson-Gelinas wouldn't see nearly as much ice as Larsson-Greene, and I want Larsson out there as much as possible.

We are so deep at d right now it's sick. Keep adding forwards thru free agency until a player or two step up in Albany...... seems like a decent plan to me We gotta make the playoffs this year I mean we are sooooo due.

Larsson-Gelinas would have to be a 3rd pairing...it would make Zidlicky-Salvador the 2nd pairing...I don't think you want drag down Larsson for Gelinas.

I agree, which is why I'd like to see Lars and Greene ultimately. It's just that is a solid pairing, where, if given the opportunity, I think the chance exists for Larsson-Gelinas to be a dynamic pair. But you're right, that would be a third pair right now, and Larsson is above that. The thought of a dynamic defensive pair is tempting though.

I pretty much assumed that the minute Kovy walked on his contract. Guys expecting him back are not seeing the situation clearly.
