The Boys season 3 just started and it is awesome. First episode is a lot of preposition for the season, but once it starts to walk, the season starts to run quickly into amazingness.

Loved the rant Whit unload on Air Canada on the last episode of Chiclets. Had my own issues with them, a nearly year long refund saga, so it struck a nerve with me. One of the worst companies I have dealt with. My disdain UPS and FedEx is higher but, damn, Air Canada gives them a run for the money.

I'm finally making my way to season 4 of stranger things and it got me wondering when the hell we were going to get that Red Wings board DND game going? Let's do this on roll20, gents!

Sorry, life got in the way. I'd be up to doing it still. Just need some willing participants!

I got a wild hair and decided to join a random campaign tonight on discord and Roll20. I think it's possible for some of us to join a newbie session together on there. Then once we get people comfortable with it we can start our own campaign of PAIN!!!

Just got back from a governmental accounting conference in Austin, Texas. f*** that hell hole. Over 100 degrees of stagnant air after about noon every day.

In good news though...

Terry Black's BBQ in Austin is fantastic.
Vince Young's Steakhouse is also fantastic. 22 oz bone-in ribeye and brussel sprouts that I ate half of there and then had a nice little steak on a stick for a snack the next morning.

Highly recommend both if you have reason to go to Austin.

Also, quick update on some fitness things.

Since March 31, 890,231 steps tracked, translating to approximately 390.18 miles. Was down to a total of 244 lbs this morning from a max (really a starting point) of 266 on April Fool's day. 67/70 days over 10,000 steps.

Misses were 9,677 on 3/31, 1,766 on 4/6 (an awful, very bad day in audit times), and 5,787 this past Saturday as I packed for my trip and had to dogsit while my sister was down and out with a migrane. It's seriously outstanding the difference in my day to day. Sorry if I've been spamming with updates. Just want to show that hey, there is always a way to do better just by taking the first steps.

I haven't checked on this thread in forever, but the fitness updates have been awesome. Keep Going!

That DnD thread is locked, if we could re-open it, I'd love to gauge again to see how many people would do a one shot.

I'm on my phone but I can't find a toggle to change that status. If I lock it and unlock it, the thread keeps kicking that same message.

I think it's cool if you make a new one with the same topic.

Dude! If I knew you were thee I would have given some recommendations for you there. I love that city. Used to live there and visit every few weeks for work.

I'm not sure what your vibe is, but if you're looking for speakeasies, fine dining, rooftop bars, pop-ups and events I got you fam.

But if your idea of a good time is going to Chilis then GTFO.

Ha, you act like I got one vibe. I can have fun at Chilis AND all of those other places. I actually do have a pretty chill vibe, but if I'm traveling somewhere new? f*** that, I'm looking for some shit to do. I'll member this for if I have another Texas trip for some reason.

You guys wouldn't be familiar with Portland, Oregon and the PNW for next year with this, would ya?

I will be soon! I'm expecting to transfer from my job here in Dallas to Seattle soon, but with the telework situation (I'll only need to be in office one day a week) I'm looking at living in Portland instead. It's slightly more affordable.

The Boys is wild. Just started watching this morning. I had plans to update my resume for an internal job posting this weekend but I will be burning a lot of time binging The Boys. Priorities! Soundtrack is too notch.
