Speculation: And yet again...the Off-Topic Thread

Summon co-ops for boss fights (randoms or friends with game). Use summon spirits for exploring in-between boss fights. I've really enjoyed summoning random ppl for boss fights and seeing their set-ups to learn about good spells/weapons/incantations. People are generally really helpful in that game.

Do not make your character overly balanced. Pick one attribute that affects damage output (FTH, INT, STR, DEX) and make that 2x higher than you have anything else. Then use weapons that scale the best to that attribute.
Related to the summoning part, if you're new to these type of games, don't let community discourse affect how you play. Summon if you wish, use op weapons if you wish. Sure, if you were looking to get the very maximum experience I would recommend no summons and a melee build to engage the most with the content, but not everyone has time for that and the game is still fun not playing that way.

I think it depends on the boss. There are some I can solo fine, or just use summon spirits.

There are some where it really just helps for you to not be the only target. And it also depends on builds. I typically run casters, so I can't get right up on the boss and really benefit from having someone tank the boss so I can do my thing.

We can disagree on a melee build being the best way to engage most with the content :P I'm glass canon or bust.

Also I will use my OP weapons all I want. You can bring that melee build around my Moonveil and see what's up. :)

I'll just dodge your moonveil :P

But yeah there's definitely bosses where it's like I don't have time to deal with this shit solo, you know who I'm talking about probably lol.

My point is that a melee build will force you to learn a bosses moveset and have that shit etched into your memory, but that's in no way a requirement to enjoy the game. I've done like 5 playthroughs (help) and a couple are casters and I had a blast.

I have a 80 INT and a 80 FTH character (2 different ones), and I really like both. I think my next one is going to be just pure Vigor/STR/DEX/Stamina and the tiniest FP bar as possible.

So Frk It is Elden Ring's version of William Nylander. Neat.

Kariya should have leveled his vigor if he didn't want to get one shot by Praetor Stephens Lord of Blasphemy

Off the floor and on the board!

(Aka, a goal that would literally never have a chance to happen in the current day because holy shit is it scary having a guy get knocked out with a concussion to go right back into the same game)

And he says he doesn't remember the goal. Yeah he should not have played

I don't even really care about the thread but it not ever letting me in has got me more interested in finding out whats going on lol

Do you have an ad blocker? I turned that off on desktop and it worked.

Although why... I dunno.

So I've got a lot of travel coming in my future, needed some new wireless headphones and wanted active noise canceling.

Found a pair of Sennheiser HD 450BT for cheap on amazon. Pretty impressed with them so far.

Just tried it with the ad blocker disabled and it worked. That seems to be the problem. Those sons of bitches are up to something!!!
I disabled my Adblocking extensions to see that thread. Aside from trivial whining, holy cow I think my computer got cancer from loading that one page. My visual and auditory senses were severely attacked.

I'm doing a one month fitness challenge with a friend. Looking forward to it. Been focusing on easy stuff currently and make it a habit of ~5 miles walking per day with close to 10-ish on Saturdays (don't have to worry about work that day, so I can just jaunt). Actually down about 15 pounds in a month from that and completely sustainable diet changes. So, I'm hoping by kicking workout into high gear, I'll do some good. And then look to jump back into goaltending in the summer when teams need a guy. Haven't played net since like September 2021 when Delta boomed. Family got spooked (we're uniquely sensitive to it, if you're not, that's cool) and said I should skip it.

Oh and also, I'm gonna hammer getting into Beat Saber too, once it stops being 80-85 and gorgeously sunny outside. Can't very well in good conscience retreat into VR world when the real world is actually gorgeous for a change.

Intermittent fasting? I did a 16 hour window for a few months and realized that really sucks. But I can do 12 hours easily.
