which of Lindholm, Randell or Fowler are the Ducks going to be forced to give up for next to no return because they literally don't have enough money to ice a full hockey team?

I think we'll give up Randell. Never really noticed him in a positive way.

Publically

Tick tick tick

Hey, if he requests a trade, he requests a trade. But most players don't, just because signing is a little difficult. More likely, he'll sign after the tournament is over, and before the season starts. As of right now, that isn't a threat I'm going to take seriously. There is no reason to, just because another player does(and, seemingly did month back).

More players request trades privately to everyone's best interest. FYI it's reported Trouba requested trade back in May reported by Bob Mac

Which, again, isn't really meaningful for Lindholm. We usually hear about it at some point, and yet that number remains very low. So, if you're trying to suggest that it's common place or something, you're reaching. Most players don't request trades during difficult negotiations, and in Trouba's case it sounds like it's related to playing on a particular side. Also not relevant for Lindholm.

I'm not going to worry about something that is pretty uncommon. Next you'll tell me I should worry about a KHL team wanting to sign him.

Yeah I'm sure the player that bashed his team for being cheap and low balling him would never ask for a trade. He obvious loves Duck management!

I'm not suggesting any of that, just saying.....TC has started and no contract yet....more requests are made privately then publically.......if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck.......

It's time to start worrying. Hopefully for Ducks get him signed

It really isn't. Show me a list of players who have been un-signed when training camp starts. Then show me a list of players who request trades as a result.

Guess which list will be much shorter. Your "threat" is weak. Plenty of contract negotiations can head into training camp. Very, very few of them ever lead to trade requests.

You said it was time to worry.

It is, if the team/fans aren't thinking it's a possibility they are delusional. Will happen? Not likely but it a very real risk

My last post, not interested I circular conversations or repeating the same thing

Don't agree? Cool, we can disagree

We'll know more in the next few days regarding Lindholm now that Sweden has been eliminated from the WC. Does he stay in NA to continue or finalize his contract or does he return home to Sweden ?

At least Lindholm has gotten into game shape preparing for the World Cup, so he shouldn't be too far behind if he comes to training camp a little late this year ;)

Trouba's situation sucks for WPG fans. Hopefully it gets resolved soon :)

Jet fans spent to much time worrying about Anaheim issues and not enough about their own

Yet we are going into preseason Tuesday with two of our core pieces not signed. We have a new coach, and they won't know the Carlyle system even if they sign tomorrow. Yah I think there issues are less worrisome than ours.

I wouldn't say 'too much time' after all it only takes 5 seconds looking at their salary structure to see the Ducks have huge cap issues

Jets and ducks make good trading partners, and even more so now with the Trouba news.

hopefully you're not suggesting a Lindholm for trouba trade. Because we shouldn't be downgrading from Lindholm to Trouba because the Jets can't give him the right side to play. We wouldn't be helping us at all by doing it. We would still have to sign him to a deal similar to what Lindholm should get, so we're in the exact same situation just with a player who is not as good as Lindholm.

Jets fans would love that swap since it benefits them completely and damages our team.

As a Jets fan, Trouba can skate in circles in Detroit or eat cheetos on his couch until Jets management decides what to do with him.

I think some Jets fans are looking at your cap space and thinking the Jets management might have the $$ for a certain defenseman. Until then we will eat our popcorn

Not hoping for the worst for the Ducks, just saying if things didn't work out with Lindholm, the Jets would probably be very interested.

If you actually spent more than five seconds you'd realize why Anaheim doesn't have huge cap issues. We have a little over 9 million in cap space to sign two players. Your mistake was thinking we have no one going to LTIR.

Heck no, I meant more of a Theodore for Ehlers or Fowler trade. Lindholm should never be moved
