Adam Fox literally is this team. Without him, we’d probably be an under .500 team. So much of our identity was absent last night. The lack of unpredictability in the offensive zone, inability to get up ice, the abysmal powerplay, etc.

Our d-men really sucked all night.

It’s ok man, you’re just a hypocrite. You can bitch and complain endless about aspects of this team but when other people do it you start crying.

I was wrong about the Rangers signing Panarin, but so far I’ve been completely right about the reasons why they shouldn’t have signed him.
I dont like a few players on the team. Yeah, so what? You bitch and moan endlessly and tell people how to feel about the entire team. You’re the man. Just dont f***ing watch. Do us all a solid if you hate the team so much then dont watch. The negativity is nauseating.

And L.o.f***ing.l. You thinking you are “right” about something, let alone the “reasons” why we shouldnt have signed Panarin. Most laughable thing I have read in awhile on here. Panarin was a total mistake to sign. LOL buddy. This is becoming a clown show here.

Get to the break and get healthy. That’s all. Don’t expect them to beat Fla right now but they have to beat seattle. We haven’t lost many back to back games I don’t think we’ve lost 3 all year
Concern about Seattle.. 1) it's a day game, which is always a crapshoot... 2) we withered when Minnesota stepped up the physical game in the 2nd. Seattle can play that in spades

It'd be a shame for the team to enter the break on a 4 game losing streak but it may force Drury's hand... for better or worse

KAM Trouba looked really bad defensively. Lindgren continue to look rough as he has the past 2-3 weeks.

We could not get the puck out of the zone or make consecutive clean passes from the 2nd period on. It was night and day from the 1st

Like I said, you’re a hypocrite. Your negativity about Chytil and Strome is also nauseating. Why not just give it a rest? You bitch and moan endlessly about these players and tell people how to feel about them. You can’t give it a rest, because you’re a hypocrite. Those guys are gonna play, so don’t watch - right?

yes, he was a mistake to sign. Rebuilding teams shouldn’t sign win now players. It’s directing impacting the growth of their young forwards. He’s already not the same player he was in his first two seasons here, you can see it. He doesn’t have a direct game to game impact anymore. His goals are way down. The Rangers aren’t winning this year and he’ll be another year older next season.

Lindgren is not 100% He needs the break badly.

Jones was excellent last night. Yes he had one bad giveaway but that's fine for such a young player.

He has one bad giveaway that doesn't lead to a goal yet Hajek gets beat by not closing the gap. If the later doesn't fix that he's destined to be a career #6-7 journeyman.

Jones needs to be a regular. He provides major flexibility since he plays both sides and is easily... EASILY.. the 2nd best puck mover we have.

HE NEEDS TO PLAY. There's no way around it

Play of the game

What a night. Seeing Hanks banner fly up was such a rollercoaster of emtions. A fantastic guy that deserves every bit of credit he is given.

Im not really too bothered about the loss, the team was obviously weakened by a lot of missing pieces and the Wild are a tremendously good hockeyteam. The way the Garden welcomes Zucc home every time is frankly just heartwarming.

Bonus points to Hank for jixing the team bigtime when Zucc scored, that moment will probably live on for a while :p

Kreider will beat Ovi to the top scorer table, 100%.

Unless Nemeth is having some kind of Players Assistance problem (Mods I'm not starting any rumors this is speculative given his personal absences, he could have a sick family member too) and out long term, the D is what you will get. They might add someone as depth eventually.

3) Colin Blackwell big game.

Ex-Ranger rule. It's science.

Finally got to watch the game. Really inspiring start, cool to see many of the players energized by the ceremony and Hank’s message to them.

Extremely disappointing collapse. Not super surprising when you factor in that it was day 2 of a back to back with travel, plus all the emotion pregame and great energy filled first. Makes sense that it caught up to them like a sugar high. Oh and they were missing their best player.

Ryan Strome is a really tough contract decision. He is well worth it offensively especially offensive blueline and in, but he just does not add much else besides that. He is straight-up bad defensively. Will they want to be paying him $5-6M and give him big minutes in April? I'm bearish.

Strome is starting to be a lot like Chytil imo. They both are better served at wing. Offense is fine but it can't come at the expense of defense.

Can we conceivably be out of playoff position after the 2 week break? All the other teams around us resume play after the all star break. Pens, Caps, Canes, Leafs and Bruins all will gain on us or surpass us in GP. The latter 3 have games in hand on us.

At this point, I wouldn’t sign him unless it was a very team-friendly deal. They have assets to trade for some younger prospects at center. That’s the way I’d handle it. Get several young centers in their first contract and see if one pans out and can start contributing.

I really like Strome, but I just don’t think we can justify the cap space right now.

I like Strome a lot but I think this is fair. He has some obvious shortcomings that are emphasized by the rest of the teams deficiencies as well. But where he's good he's really good, the guy is a great playmaker. It's a really tough decision.

The Jones play, it was a timing play I think, and he expected Hajek to be there for the pass. That's why he blindly threw it.

The Hajek play, the whole team in front of Shesterkin was asleep. Gaudreau saw it and picked up speed like a bat out of hell. To exacerbate, they were in the midst of a change. Those first 2 shifts to start the third were disgusting.

These athletes are phenomenal and the back to back tired stuff is way overused.

Players like Panarin at 28 years old are available as free agents once a generation. You sign him.

That’s all.

The rangers could not have known they’d be getting a first overall pick left winger when they locked up Panarin and Kreider.

You don’t not lock up two of the best wingers in the nhl for what you *might* have years from now in a draft class.

Panarin may not be having a career year, but he’s still elite in this league and playing up to the value of his contract. He’s the opposite of a bad signing.

We’re stacked on the left side if Laf gets good, but that’s a good problem to have.

Great game for those who worship doom.

Blame for this one can be placed squarely on Georgiev and Quinn.
