Wow Carlos Gonzalez got a guaranteed 8M on his 1 year deal.

I get the age difference but if Gonzalez is getting 8M then Bautista could possibly make a case for getting 4-5M and i think that would be too much for him;

I wouldn't have had any interest in Gonzalez at anything more than a $3-4 million flyer, maybe pushing to $5 million if there wasn't anything else available.

I hope Gibby does not stick with Morales every single day as the DH. I think he could be a good bench bat. They need to rotate guys through the DH spot. Specifically Travis, Tulo and Donaldson with Morales playing 3 times a week. It's the best way to keep these guys as healthy as possible.
