Not falling for that one again.
Not falling for that one again.
The whole “let’s make Biagini a starter” thing just seems silly.
Alas, Axford-Clippard-Oh probably means they’re going to try to keep doing it. It’s dumb.

This is what I was talking about a couple of weeks ago - we really needed to sign one more starting option because our SP depth is lacking. A guy like Cobb is out of our budget, but there are still options out there with guys like Feldman, Anderson, Bucholtz, who could be had cheap for a year.
What was the pitchers name? I'm on mobile. ty.Can we trade for this pirates pitcher? Just for the name?
Yeah agreed. I’m surprised Anderson didn’t come back on a minor league deal. One thing I will say about this front office is it seems they’d rather try to rebuild former top prospects (I.e. McGuire) than try to get something out of retreads (Feldman, Bucholz).
Would be fun if Upper Deck turned into something for the franchise. And by something, I mean a decent #5 depth starter. I’m sure Zeke would be giving AA credit too. Which I’d be cool with.
Yep.
They know exactly how he works best and yet they keep trying to force this.

Guerrieri looks like he has a future in the bigs.
So I haven’t had the chance to watch a single game this pre-season and was wondering if anyone could fill me in on who is impresssing and who has been disappointing. I read about Alford, Guerrero and Bichette having a strong game the other day. But all these guys will be in the minors. I’m wondering how guys like Grichuk, Diaz, Solarte, Hernandez, and our bullpen have looked. Seems like a lot of guys with potential for bounce back seasons in that bullpen. Thanks in advance.
Thanks for this. Do you see Bichette being a shortstop at the big league level? I’ve read he projects more to be a second base guy but if Travis can stay healthy, I wonder what happens.SP Stroman - n/a

Reminds me of when they kept trying to make Corey Thurman and Robert Person starters way back when.

they've kind of been raving about his D at short so i'm starting to believe he sticks there.
Damien Magnifico
He's probably little more than minor league fodder, but I just like the name.
Corey Thurman. There's a name I haven't thought about in a long time. I do remember liking him as a reliever for some reason though.
