KOHO jersey would only be an A.
They wore Reebok when he had the C.
Nice! Thanks for that tidbit. Forgot about that quick transition into the RBK brand.

Tis a curse of us jersey nerds! Striving to get our jerseys correct.

Speaking of. For anyone that has both the KOHO and Reebok versions of the Liberty, what are the main differences of the 6100 cut vs. KOHO cut?

I thought they were the same just a rebrand?

Team Issued. Meaning it was made and given to the team for a player but never used. The fact that it has retail tags attached, it’s size and the neck tag tell me it’s not. I’m not an expert on Jagr’s physical traits but I’m skeptical he wore a 52 (especially with pads on). A TI shirt doesn’t have the manufacturer branded tag inside, just the size one. And like I said the retail tags attached to the sleeve are a dead giveaway. All that being said it’s an authentic jersey. I’m a stickler for accuracy with these things and I’m not an expert on the Liberty’s but I know the names/numbers are supposed to be 3 layered twill but I can’t say for certain if this is. It looks good but I’d ask for pics of the inside and close ups of the numbers (back and sleeve) on the outside to see that it is in fact sewn on. And see if he know who did the customization.

Thanks for everyone's help & insight here. The seller added photos of the interior stitching as well as closer ups of the numbers on the side. He said the customization was done by Keener Jerseys in Canada.

I would prefer the reebok model, but I don't know if this will become available in my size anytime soon.

Two questions here:

1. What do y'all think of the customization?
2. How big is a size 52? I'm 5'10/160. I like to wear them big, but am concerned this still might be huge on me.

How I wish I had just purchased Jagr jerseys back when he was on the team the stores were stacked with them.

As an FYI, 48's weren't a thing with Reebok EDGE or the current adidas jerseys. That's an automatic sign a jersey is a knockoff. It goes straight from 46 to 50.

Thanks, that's super helpful. Do you know how the Edge 1.0s run compared to the primegreens? Specifically wondering about the sleeves, if they run long or short. The 46 primegreen fits me OK, but I'd like it a touch bigger.

I don't own a Primegreen but I found the on ice EDGE jerseys had shorter sleeves than the Indo-EDGE jerseys at least for me if that helps at all.

@Prince Igor I can share my experience regarding Adidas and the Edge 1.0, though, I don’t have the newer Primegreen.

Since you’d want it a touch bigger - for the Edge 1.0 - I think 50 would be ideal for you. (That size 46 you linked earlier may fit a bit tighter/slimmer on you since you’re 5’ 10”. Especially if you’d want to wear some layers or a hoodie underneath)

I have size 50 in the Edge 1.0 and a size 46 in the Adidas Adizero. The Edge 1.0 runs almost the same as the Adidas in torso fit, even a tad looser. My hands JUST clear through the sleeves on the Adidas, but not so much on the Edge 1.0. The sleeves are longer and the Reebok gives me the “wizard arms look” when wearing it. Other than that, they are similar enough in fit.

Snapped this side by side for you where you can see the sleeves are just a smidge longer on the Reebok…

Regarding Keener, I have heard good things about their customization, so you should be satisfied with their work

You guys worry too much about fit on these jerseys.
Hockey jerseys are supposed to be baggy and you can always roll up the ends of the sleeves.
I can wear anywhere from a size 54-58 comfortably.

The Primegreen jerseys are very snug compared to the Climecool/Climalite (whatever the f*** the original Adidas jerseys are called)

I see your point since hockey jerseys traditionally should be baggy and loose, but sometimes you don’t want to be that person that looks like you’re wearing your big sibling’s hand me downs. 😆 Some folks like slimmer fits nowadays, and I can respect that.

Plus, let’s face it. These jerseys are expensive these days. Especially authentics. Unless one has disposable income, you want these to fit right the way you want it to if you plan on wearing them. I understand Prince Igor dotting I’s and crossing T’s before plopping down the cash. With all the collective knowledge and experience you guys have in here, this is the best thread to do it on!

😆I agree @Amazing Kreiderman! When I was looking for my first Adidas, I was confused with all the different naming attached to listings. AeroreadyClimaliteClimawhaaa??

Thanks, this is super helpful. It kinda reaffirms what I was thinking. I was just hoping that they might run big because I prefer things a little baggy. Unfortunately, I'll have to wait until a size 50 pops up since I don't see anything available ATM. The white Edge I linked to is a 46 and brand new but hopefully something will show up soon.

I'm actually looking at going a size down for the Reebok Edge because the 46 is the only one I can find right now which is why I was asking. I like wearing things baggy too, but don't want to end up with a brand new jersey that feels tight or has sleeves that come up short.

@Prince Igor Did a quick search and saw there’s a hockeyjerseys sub on Reddit. Maybe post there looking for a size 50? You never know if someone there might be looking to unload one.

I noticed that was browsing the NHL store the other day. They're really trying to make the retail jerseys more of a shirt rather than a jersey. I have a few friends that love this because they simply think they look more fashionable, me on the other hand i like my baggy jerseys.

Throwing what I'm looking for in here in case anyone happens across a listing or something in a thrift shop or garage sale lol. I'll gladly send you money for it and cover all shipping costs, etc (or we can do a local pickup if we're close to each other).

  • Blank New York Rangers Reebok Edge 1.0. Size 50 (Preferably white but also open to blue depending on condition/price)
  • Blank Reebok 6100 New York Rangers Liberty Jersey. Also open to Koho on-ice authentic. Sizes 48-52. (white or blue)
  • Any good condition / authentic Rangers Jagr jerseys.

Didn't want to start a new thread for this, but anyone at the game last night, can you explain this whole "staple" line of merchandise? What am I missing? Why would I want a Rangers shirt/hat with "Staple" written across it or a picture of a pigeon?
