The key pieces IMO are Zetterlund and Shakir and the 1st. Okhotiuk is a bit of a B-level wild-card. I sort of get why they chose the Jersey offer. I'm not as high on Shakir as I am with Morrow, but he was also a higher draft choice.

I misread the deal. It was 2 firsts, Zetterlund, Shakir, and Okhotiuk. I thought it was only one 1st. Yeah, I get why the Canes didn't want to trade that much. That's a lot of asset coin when you consider the 2 firsts and the mid-first round drafted Shakir.
