seravalli on real kyper & bourne doesn't seem to know anything about why he might get traded(kypreos somehow knew more) said that jets would be looking for a really good 1st + fwiw
I think something around Rutger + Iafallo for #10 and Marino may work out nicely for us

Maybe Dregs is no longer the "favourite son"?? Chris Johnston broke the DeMelo extension, I believe.
Either that, or Chevy asked him to keep quiet on McGroarty.

True, but sounds like the framework is almost done. Hard to spend a lot of time negotiating a framework if you don't have the correct asset.

That would be such a great trade for us, guess it would come down to if our players would welcome Laine back. Columbus probably passes on that though
I think we probably need to add a 1st to this deal at the very least to get it over the finish line.
I think we still have the rights of Vesalainen hanging around somewhere. He was a first.
Iafallo becomes a bit redundant as a piece if we have Laine.

The only trouble is we would be right back at square one.
Laine and Ehlers on the wings with the need for a workhorse center that can do all the dirty work for them.
I think the hope is Laine might be able to find his game (or some semblance of it) back in Winnipeg while also enticing Ehlers to stick around.
Jiricek is the big grab for me here.
