Because he hasn't shown any indication of being able to handle a starter's game load in 10 NHL seasons. Even in Toronto he'd be getting I expect around 30-33 games unless Woll shows he can take the reigns and that's about 20% more games in a season than he's ever played.

Iafallo is the type of swiss-army knife that coaches love. Can play up (hopefully temporarily) or down the line up
Strong as a puck hound on the forecheck, but not particularly good at anything else.
I think you're doing OK if he's on your 4th line (he's overpriced for that roll) but you're in deep shit if he's in your top 6 for any period of time
I'd like to see a guy like Barron get the opportunity to spot in the top 6 over Iafallo but I guess we'll see what the org does with him

I really don't know what to expect from the Jets its super quiet
A couple of scouts I know that don't work for the Jets figure this off season is going to be very busy. Lots of cap space for a lot of teams which hasn't happened in a while. Utah wants to be competitive now and is open for business and has the assets to make deals, Anaheim might end up going through a 2nd rebuild if they move on Zegras and build around Carlsson/Gauthier/Whoever they draft this year, Nashville thinks they can compete next year and want to add now, Calgary for whatever reason doesn't want to rebuild and are basically stuck with Huberdeau/Kadri probably won't do much until they get to a new rink, Then you have all these teams that could be good like Buffalo/Montreal/Ottawa/Toronto/ET... and none of them have a goalie.
So I expect some fireworks up to and at the draft

They're capped out and only player with any equal/higher cap hit that can be traded right now is Barzal. So either this is incorrect or there are players willing to waive NTCs.

The reporter Rosner has pretty good insight to the Islanders and was the one who called the Horvat trade so I am assuming he has some good info into what is going on there.
