In a lull between trades, TSN and Sportsnet have announced a trade. Going to TSN, Jamal Mayars and Kevin Beiksa while Sportsnet receives Kevin Sawyer and Craig Button. Jamal will be relocating to Winnipeg to cover the Jets.
Sportsnet also announced that for the 2024 playoffs, all games involving the Leafs will be played in Toronto. All four games will start at 7:00 EDT, so that the Jets games can start at 10:00 pm
