Canuck fans are upset ... they want to trade Lindholm already ... lol.

@reporterchris

With the #canucks believed to be among those pursuing Jake Guentzel, word is they've had discussions about potentially flipping Elias Lindholm to the #bruins as part of the machinations to make it happen.Nothing concrete in place at this time. Still lots of moving parts.

Since we're talking Zucker, I'd be willing to take Dumba too. I realize he's shit, but he can't be worse than Pionk (when he's off his game, which seems like quite often these days)

We need to have SOME buffer between one injury and Stanley in the line up

What's with B Dillon being quoted in Vancouver that he would like to sign there as a UFA?

Reported in local Vancouver media.
I'm illiterate when trying to post tweets or images on this site, so I won't even try.. However I found where this was all coming from. It's all dated from 2020 from when Dillon was a UFA. Here's what the tweets said:

Taj (taj944 on twitter)

Sept 25th, 2020
Both Moj and Dhaliwal said Brenden Dillon would love to play for the Canucks.

Oct 2nd, 2020
Brenden Dillion: I had the Bure posters on the wall, I was a Luongo fan. Any hometown kid would love to play for the Canucks.

October 6th, Dillon then signed with the Capitals lol.

Crazy fan site just posting outdated BS for clicks.

Unless the forward is really going to improve the Monahan line (or Scheifele's), I really don't see the value. Jets have Gus and Kupari (and Toninato) for 4th line, and can move Perfetti up into the top 9 if needed. Also, I think Chevy should push to add McGroarty instead. There are plenty of examples of prospects of his calibre stepping in and playing well (examples include Knies last season and Stankoven this season).

Adding a player like Zucker doesn't move the needle compared to Perfetti or McGroarty.

I'm also not sure that Lambert or Chibrikov couldn't play some role, if the Jets really need.

I do think they might benefit from another 6/7 D, mainly because the Jets might be one injury away from Stanley. Heinola might step in, but he's a bit less of a certainty after the injury this season and some uneven play at the AHL level.

how many times have we heard this supposed internal additions statement from Chevy esp. when it comes to heinola? i'll see it when i believe it. heinola has not played an NHL game all year, & all of a sudden he's supposed to be some sort of notable addition for the POs? Highly doubtful. this isn't a Makar level player being drop-shipped for a PO run.

even lambert & chibrikov; just does not seem like chevy's or the Jet's MO, and really if Perfetti can't find big ice-time on the Jets i doubt these guys will.
Heinola has had some good games and feels good. He hasn't put up the numbers you would expect. Capo has, he has had a really good season. Lambert definitely has NHL speed and is a good finisher. Not sure this season makes sense for him. Viel has had a good season, wouldn't be surprised if he's a call up if we are missing multiple bottom six guys.

How do you all think Stanley has been in the last few games he's played?

Keep in mind, if Schmidt and Stanley got injured, who are you calling? Whoever that is, I'd give them some NHL games if possible before the playoffs.

If we don't add anyone this week, at least we will have the capspace to expand our roster and hopefully cycle some guys in.

I'd use the last 20 or so games as a bit of an audition for some guys, too.

I think we have plenty of internal options but we need to see what we have. I'd hate to bring up say Heinola in the playoffs if we are hurt on D without giving him some tune up games. That would be a lot to put on his shoulders.

ok that's good and all. do you think that's enough to have him as playing regular mins in the POs? ditto for Lambert? who are either starting over in the regular line-up.

I think Stanley has been fine as a 7D, i also don't know what that has to do with anything and didn't mention him at all? i don't anticipate him starting in the POs w/ a regular line-up. if you mean Heinola being a PB guy, sure. the OP i responded to was in relation to trades which would strike me as augmenting the 12F 6D, but i def. could have misinterpreted that.
