Not sure about both, but with the amount we have scouted Philly I'm betting on a Walker trade, for Stanley, 2025 2nd and a lesser prospect. We keep Montreal's 2nd.
Other than Taresenko none of those are an upgrade to what we have. Insurance maybe but giving up assets for anyone on that list but Tarasenko would be crazy.

I agree Frost could be a nice add, I just don't see why Philly would trade him as a RFA with team control. It isn't like they are in any position to go full scale rebuild.
Ya i don't think it's very good, they went on a losing streak right after they got him. Probably not why they weren't playing good but they gave up quite a bit for him and probably thought they would be even better with him and it kinda went the other way. Vancouver was way ahead of us in the standings and now we are only 2 points behind them with 3 games in hand.

Put Vilardi until LTIR until game 1 of the playoffs. Trade for Toffoli.
Repeat for a couple of other players.
That way the loophole finally gets closed this summer.

Zucker fits the Bones model much more than Vlad. There were rumors the Jets were after him in the offseason as well. So I could easily see it. But he'd just be another middle 6 player on a team full of them. I'd want to shoot higher if we are using the remainder of the space we have at the deadline.

If Zucker were very cheap to acquire I could tolerate, but I’d be slightly disappointed because I just don’t see him as an upgrade.

Agreed, Mantha is hardly an ideal add. The last thing the Jets need to add is a guy who has a reputation for just going through the motions.
