Wondering why Alex Vlasic isn’t included in the NHL rookie scoring stats?

I saw Bedard, Guttman, Korchinski and Kaiser but not Vlasic?

Vlasic had played 21 games over the past two seasons, Guttman played 14 last year and Kaiser played 9… thought you can’t have 25 games over the previous two seasons?

Nevermind I see the rules n it has changed(I think)

The solution for a faceoff dominator is within the Hawks draftee system...

Ilya Safonov has won 150/246 in 18GP so far on raws= 61%..

With the showing of Vlasic, Korchinski and Kaiser so far the switch in defence corps as worked out nicely…Phillips, Del Mastro, Allan and maybe Crevier can hopefully fill out the seven man rotation with Seth Jones as early as next year maybe?

Gone are Caleb Jones, Nicolas Beaudin, Ian Mitchell, Alec Regula, Jakub Galvas and Wyatt Kalynuk…

Sam Rinzel, Taige Harding, Connor Kelley and Janne Peltonen up next?

Taige Harding sucks

One of the worst Hawks picks in recent years

Still a defence of these eight…looks good!

Seth Jones
Kevin Korchinski
Alex Vlasic
Wyatt Kaiser
Isaak Phillips
Ethan Del Mastro
Nolan Allan
Sam Rinzel

Connor Murphy(thanks for your time and leadership) Jarred Tinordi(vet presence) and Nikita Zaitsev will bring back plenty in assets

There's good depth options.

There isn't a bonafide 1D, unless someone has an unexpected breakout.

If we draft Levshunov that could be our bona-fide 1D .But hevorobaly gets drafted top 5 so with our D already looking better than recent years,we probably will not finish that low... 9-12 range pre-lotto?Have to depend on luck to move up via lotto winfor#1or#2 ..

Korchinski turning into a #1 would not be unexpected. The way he has developed I would say it would be a disappointment if he does not become a bonafide number 1.

Funny thing you could've put Vlasic's name instead in his post and basically said the same thing about him.
Or Allan’s.

It wouldn't be out of left field, but it also shouldn't be the expectation. Him settling into a #2 or #3 role would be fine.

If we drafted Mintyukov I'd be higher on the 1D projection.

I've seen lists with KK ahead of Minty. The Athletic had KK ahead on a list that came out in the last day or two.

Now I'm not saying that your assessment is wrong, but it's not the concensus either.

yeah Minty is a tier ahead for me as well. Higher ceiling to become a 2way force

To be clear, I'm not saying my assessment is right either. Just an opinion. I'm higher on Minty than Korch.

I still like Korch, but I think it's unfair to label him a disappointment if he doesn't become a 1D. 1D would exceed what I expect.

I agree that from what we see right now from K2, his ceiling is a notch below a legit #1. He still needs to get stronger to handle one-on-one battles in the d-zone and his popgun shot needs much improvement. If he improves both of those areas then he may reach true #1 level.

Keith's strengths as a d-man were not physical strength nor a great shot. I'm not comparing K2 with Keith because they are different players - but if Keith was considered a true #1 - then so too can K2 become a true #1.

I think KK is going to be very good player, but I think Mintyukov has a higher upside.
