He had 46 pts in 34 games in his D1 season. Whatever way you slice it I think it’s fair to say that more production would’ve been expected from Nazar and especially Moore.. Too early to write to anyone off though for sure

Toews was also 17 his first collegiate year (same as Celebrini now). He was a true 18 year old in that PPG+ year. It's a weird argument. Toews was the much better prospect over the other two.

Most certainly gonna make the team.

Also scored his 1st goal in pro hockey yesterday in Sierre. 1st goal of the game (white team). Nice shot, looks like he may have been using the defenseman as a screen. Has been in Bellinzona's lineup for 5 games straight now. Still don't quite know why he played u20 elites earlier this season but better late than never I guess.
Scored his 2nd goal in pro hockey against the same opponent (Sierre) today. His goal was Bellinzona's only one in a 1-7 loss. Felcman is heating up as he also had a primary assist in a 1-4 loss vs Olten on Tuesday.

Czechia's coaches might have done him a favour by not selecting him for the WJC20. Been saying since september or october that the player should be spending more time with his team in Bellinzona. So far he did everything but that. He attended the Blackhawks prospect camp, got a first taste of NL hockey with the Tigers, played juniors in Switzerland (for whatever reason) and travelled the world with Czechia. Missed time due to injury as well. This was only his 10th game for Bellinzona this season. I think these SL games are helpful and a good preparation for next season when he's expected to play NL. Next season we should get a better idea if the pick indeed was more of a reach or if Felcman can drive play, can contribute offensively in one of Europe's top leagues. The latter would be impressive for a then 19 yo of his size and the Tigers seem to be counting on him to do exactly that.

So him not getting selected for the WJC20 may be a bummer and it was a surprise to me as well but I actually think he played for too many teams already and he'd have been an underager so he can still play in next years WJC20.

Jay Pandolfo is the BU coach:
“I think his game’s coming along really well, especially the last, say, three or four weeks,” Pandolfo said. “He’s a 200-foot centerman, and can really skate. He pushes the pace very well for us. I think he’s been much better defensively, I think we’ve continued to kind of harp on him making sure he’s diligent in defensive zone ending plays because he’s so quick and he’s such a good skater, and we’ve talked about just having a good stick all the time".

What’s the likelihood he makes the jump at the end of the season? Or is it more of a 2025 move?

Greene was asked about turning pro in the article and he sidestepped the question by saying he's not thinking about it at this point.

If he signs after this season, he'll probably need to spend some time in Rockford next year. I read this past off season that the Hawks would like him to make quicker decisions with the puck. Not sure where I read it. Also, he's a bit gangly and needs to put on about 10 pounds of muscle. That would put him at 195 or so on a 6'1" frame. He has a tendency to hold his stick high which can be a bit problematic around the net offensively and defensively.

Have you tried to translate the article used as a source? I mean, you wouldn't spread some fake news, right?

Are you claiming it's not accurate? Because it's being reported everywhere. Perhaps you have a source that proves this is "fake news"?

In the original language, the article reads as they should encourage players to want to stay in Russia, nothing about forcing anyone to stay.

The current trend is actually that more and more Russians are coming over, at younger ages, and sticking around even in depth/tweener roles. The "never coming over" types are not happening.. I suppose things could change in this regards but it would likely be due to circumstances that affect a lot more than KHL hockey players as far as who is or isn't allowed to leave the country.

Seems to support what everyone else is saying.
From what I'm seeing everyone is speculating that Russian players will be forced to stay, although the article says only that this particulate player (Oilers prospect Nikita Yevseyev) will be forced to leave to NA - seems quite different to me.
