Thomas Milic wins MVP. Really hope they spend a pick on this kid. He looked really good.

He doesn't have the ideal size for a goalie (only 6'0) but he is athletic and is very calm. Kid already has been in some big games and won. I would rather draft his backup Ratzlaff who is alittle bit bigger and just turned 18, but I wouldn't blink an eye if Hawks did spend a pick on Milic.

..Milic rightly MVP ...if not for him the last 2 games could have gone to Winnipeg as I thought they dominated tge possession...especially when the Benson line was put on shifts...gavexSeattke fits trying to defend the and get pucks out or back...so many grade A scoring chances the Benson line created but failed to score ...
They made the Seattle forwards and D look slow and shake...
Their speed caused a lot of trouble for Seattle but Miklc their to save them so often..
I did not think Seattle pjayed uoto its normal standards thebkadtc2 games...Yet they won the series 4 in 5 games...wining 4cstraight..but they were fat from dominating and were lucky Milic bailed them out so often.

The story is tgat you just cannot look good but actually must score often and beat goalies often...Winnipeg looke great but just could not score enough...Milic a big reason why Winnipeg dod not score enough on thir plethora of grade A chances.

Very calm, goals don’t rattle him. As opposed to Hauser, he was visibly frustrated/upset when he gave up goals

So we now know the T-birds opponent in the first round of the Memorial Cup - it will be the Peterborough Petes by virtue of them beating the London Knights 2-1 tonight to take the series 4-2.

The other matchup will be Quebec versus Kamloops.

Not sure when the series gets started.

Not saying it doesn't.

Doesn't mean I gotta like it. I want to see more of the prospects, not less.
It's just one week in early July.

Whatever drills you get to see Scott Powers record on his phone aren't really indicative of anything anyway.

Ok...no on ice show firctge fans at development camp...but can they measure tge increased Instruction of training methods on sY the muscles grown by tge kids when most if them will be in rookie camp before the Rookies games with the Wild Rookies before Main training camp arrives? The benefits to directed increased training instruction have to be measurable else this is not realky of benefit ...So how can tgeycassurecus ? By tracking strength improvements/skatibg improvements /nutrition habits inrovement over the 2.5 mnth interval beforectgey see sone ofvtges prospects again ready forbon ice tests in prep for tge rookies games with the Wild rookies ?

As with any strategy action plan you need to test results of your strategy...so will they tell us tge fans the Before and After resukts of this new experiment?

It had bettercshowcresukts because the Marketing Dept. Is nit gonna be haooy with the "no show" element to stir the juices of the summertime dead lull incurred by the fans and no doubt this could tge merch sales. Fans do not get a look at their prospects playong the game.. so there will be a lot less interest on the fan boards etc. I STEADYING will have to be repaired by the media Hawks beat writers spinning human interest stories on the kids...no wow look at that shot..or look at that dangle...or that world class pass!Or that great save...Nipe...now you gotta wait till September to see them on display..

Gonna be a long summer lay-off for the fans.

If it works by proving they benefitted with better test scores on tge sjatingcand strength components then you get a more imoactful player...hopefully..So that woukd justify this change. So there better be actual improvements in these areas..If the kids have not improved on test scores for strength and conditioning and skating then it will be shown to me little difference but robbed te fans of a little sumner "buzz"...
FOR now I guess Hockey Ops got there way..but the Marketing Deot.sure does not
not like it.

Question: Are tge Wikd doing the same with their prospects dev .camp..

If tgey are going okd school and actualky having sonevivice games at tgdir camp ,and they if they beat us badly at tge September Rookies match-up when we pjay tgeir rookies, that will tell me if our kids hot the benefits promised by this new policy...OR if tge policy back-fired.

Not saying the kids will test worse 2and hLf months after dev. CMp...that woukd be illogical.. but if it basically is tge sane levels measured with not any significant better testing scores then this whole new policy will be shown not to have accomplished tgat much.

So tgere had better be sobe significant improvements.
Is tge kid sjati g faster than at Dev. Camp? Does he measure better o the bike...and conditioning tests?Or o the strength tests?

You would hope they publish the before and after scores...else we get no proof of anything except tge coaching staff's word that tgey actually dod apply what they learned off ice and actualky are mich better than before.

The Blazers are a bunch of players running around like chickens with their heads cut off. The Ramparts aren’t as talented but Roy has them playing a really solid system.

Zellweger will struggle in the NHL. He’s as brain dead as he was at the world juniors. I’d challenge he wasn’t the best defensemen in the WHL this year, but I guess they reward an individual doing whatever the hell they want over being able to play a team game.

The blazers puck management was horrendous last night.
