Yeah good game by the boys tonight. Fast and exciting game. Nice that they chased Hauser - maybe put some doubt in his head for tomorrow night's game. Milic was outstanding as usual.

They said an interesting tidbit tonight about Allan - he led the WHL in +/- with a +70 and is leading the playoffs with a +26.

Watching Kevin Korchinski play you can see he is still slight of frame and needs about 20lbs of lean muscle , Winnipeg was really targeting him . He goes back to Seattle for sure next year.

Yep. It would be fun and hopefully instructive for him to get a few games with the Hawks before being sent back to WHL but he has things to work on and improve and best to do it at Jr level rather than to get thrown in the deep end too soon.

I've watched enough games now to notice an uptick in his willingness to shoot - it's still not a good enough shot in terms of velocity and accuracy but at least he is taking more shots rather than distributing which is a strength of his. A work in progress.

A prospect's shot is probably of the least concern for me. One of the easier skills to improve, IMO.

If that's KK's biggest flaw, then things are looking pretty good.

Have they had anyone go out and work with KK like they had Campbell do with Boqvist when he was in London?

Let me preface this by saying I'm no expert - I'm just a fan who has seen about 30 of his games this season.

I've said time and again there are two things KK needs to improve on to be a top line d-man in the NHL - his shot and getting stronger to win more one-on-one board battles. If I had to pick which one is more important if would be getting stronger because if he does that he will be a good NHL level d-man even without improving his shot. The shot improvement is needed to be the d-man on the #1 PP. At this point he wouldn't scare the opposing PK because he doesn't have a shot they need to be concerned with.
