Khan always making stuff about himself

Between this and his comments about Rosa I don't understand how someone doesn't tell him he either needs better media training or to let someone else do these interviews.

Him bragging how HHH can't have his NXT guys back because they all have 5 year contracts was not a good PR way to say that.

Neither was HHH making the snide "you beat our developmental brand" remark when you recall:

A) He was running developmental at that time.

And:

B) They were the ones who picked that fight.

Perhaps I'm in the minority but Aleister Black never did anything for me. I can't view him as a main event talent or even upper mid-carder.
same. if you have been "creatively misused" in multiple companies using the same gimmick, it's probably not the company's fault. some guys are just midcard gimmick filler.

so if/when he goes back, and it inevitably doesn't work out again because "they stifled me creatively!"... then what for him?

He said that purposefully because he knew folks like you would go "Ummm actually AEW!!!". He knows what he said, he wants to be a salty bitch about it and wanted to get a rise out of the IWC and folks like you took the bait.

It's also not at all comparable to Tony calling out his women's champion for not being a draw, while reinforcing the belief that he doesn't give two shits about women's wrestling.

It was a stupid thing to say when he easily could have given a safe, political answer saying he hears people's complaints about how the women are booked and would fix it instead of just throwing Rosa under the bus

I think WWE gave him an unfair shake because Vince felt he only had room for one spooky gimmick, and Wyatt was wasting all that oxygen.

Black has a cool look, and is a very good wrestler. His presentation in NXT was great, but he was totally squandered on the main roster. Then Tony Khan did what he is doing with a lot of guys and just waste them with shit booking.

With an actual smart Booker, Black can go very far

Black was getting over pretty well on WWE , the pandemic slowed him down. His character being repackaged a bit and turning heel was a a little premature. Him abs Ricochet should of won the tag team titles when they debuted together. They were pretty over with their matches as a tag team. I feel like Black atleast had some memorable feeds and marches in his 2 year run on the main roster. Him and Buddy Murphy was a good one.

I disagree with this. I'm not really into Black either but he hasn't been given a fair chance in either WWE or AEW. He was featured heavily at the start in AEW and it was working and then, they just didn't know what to do with him. You can't put that on Black.

What about Miro? Would you say the same thing about him? Because Miro is money but he has been misused by both companies.

Yes 100%. Same with Andrade.

Miro especially. This dude was a big "I want more creative freedom" guy and came in with a weird gimmick that sucked. Then switched to the redeemer which was great and should have been in the world title mix, and it's then my understanding he then voluntarily took time off to go film something. He lost his spot and is now slumming it up in the annual 6 man tag that only ever happens in order to get Sting on the card.

It's the double edge sword asking for time off and it being granted; it's great for your morale but it typically comes at a price of losing your spot unless youre a made top guy. Someone else is gonna step up and take your shifts.

of Miro, Andrade, and Black, I would only keep Miro if I had to pick. If any of them absolutely wanted out of AEW, be my guest because the hard truth is they don't really matter in the context on the company (I would still hate to lose Miro because he could be a credible world title guy + he provides a wrestling style in AEW that isn't redundant).

I am uniroincally welcoming this rumored HHH guy exodus because it would free up time for fresh guys who haven't already flopped in both major promotions. AEW lost its soul when it started signing every NXT guy left and right, now is the chance to get things back on track

Agree to disagree. I don't think Black amounts to much at all.

I agree. Nothing special in ring, a nothing promo, a gimmick that could maybe work somewhere but feels out of time. One of the many wrestlers that people proclaimed were big stars being wasted.... who have gotten another chance in a different promotion and looked no better.

What does this mean?

KO doesn't like Punk, one reason being he made some comments about KO wrestling in a t-shirt

KO is taking a jab basically saying he main evented Mania (something Punk never did) and brought Austin out of retirement (something Punk tried to make happen for himself)

His timing was during Punk's media scrum rant. KO is also friends with the Bucks

I didn’t know there was stuff with ko and punk.

I love ko.

Fun surprise for me- I’m from Vancouver but I’m on a boys trip just before covid to watch the Canucks in Toronto and Montreal and Ottawa. During the Habs game there is a stoppage and they start playing ko’s music. Big screen shows him there at the game and he gets a really good ovation.

Note the time he decided to tweet this

Kevin Owens was in the main event for Wrestlemania, against Steve Austin no less whom was retired since 2003.

CM Punk being a diva isn’t anything new, just some marks being in ‘shock’ that it’s happening in AEW. Let’s face it, Punk is going into business for himself and he will shit all over the AEW locker room to do it.

Probably the worst thing to happen to AEW is Vince retiring.
