Ok so I read up on that.

Obviously there needs to be more control going on behind the scenes, and Tony is accountable for that, but it’s not all him, there are people in talent relations there too. Otherwise, that’s also where’d I’d expect people like Jericho, Regal, or Dustin to step in and get people to cut their shit out. Don’t know who that would be among the women, probably Serena.

They seem to be lacking someone that is actively talking to talent to make sure they are in a good spot but also willing to lay the law down.

Schiavone is apparently doing that now, so maybe he needs more time to settle things back down

I recall reading stories that WWE's women's locker room had issues like this and apparently Bayley's arrival cut all that out. They need someone like that for the women who are natural locker room leader.

Honestly just reading everything it feels like even the older guys only stick to to their circles and the factions on screen exist behind the scenes too

I am torn because on one hand this is as massive a match as you can do, but the other hand I was pretty invested in Cody dethroning Roman at this point.

They need to get a belt back on RAW so Cody has something to win at Mania.

I hate the idea of Rock putting Roman over. It’s like the most organically over guy ever doing the job for the least organically over guy ever.

In a new report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer mentioned that Warner Brothers Discovery has told AEW that it would like the "language toned down" in future episodes of AEW Dynamite and AEW Rampage. That said, the edict did not make note of AEW's bloody matches

Fightful Select reported this afternoon that the top tag team won’t be part of the first version of the AEW: Fight Forever video game.

The former AEW Tag Team Champions originally made it to the "model phase" of the game but were pulled this past Spring. FTR was told of the decision and wasn't too happy about it because wrestlers being part of video games usually also comes with a significant bonus.

Why the heck wouldn’t they be in the game?

WWE has been signing former stars to new contracts recently, and appear to be targeting two former champions. Fightful Select reported on Monday that the company is pitching ideas about bringing Braun Strowman back into the fold after his 2021 release, and added confirmation regarding a previous report that Bronson Reed (aka Jonah) could be on his way back as well. Strowman, a former Universal Champion, was let go in June 2021 and quickly attached himself to the Control Your Narrative promotion. He has only wrestled eight matches since then, but did pop up at Ring of Honor's Final Battle event representing CYN. He did not, however, appear at NWA 74 this past weekend when the promotion invaded the NWA during an angle involving EC3 and Thom Latimer

After being put over Okada in a star making performance I think it would be a real bad idea for Jonah to leave New Japan because he's clearly going to be figured in at the top with a huge push. Also after a year or two of working with the top guys there he will almost surely improve greatly and up his stock for a big money WWE move.

I really hope they don't bring Strowman back.

Sasha Banks, fine. I think you can obviously do something with her and the crowd reacts to her.

Naomi is one of the worst women on the roster. She can't talk, she can't act, she can't wrestle, her move set sucks, everything about her is bad.

Patrick Clark ( Velveteen Dream ) was arrested in Florida.

from today's pwinsider.com:

Former WWE NXT star Patrick Clark aka The Velveteen Dream during his WWE NXT run was arrested on 8/26 for an out of county warrant for "possession of drug paraphernalia" in Florida. He is currently listed as incarcerated at Orange County Jail in Orlando. The details behind the original warrant and the circumstances of Clark's arrest are not yet clear.

Clark, 26, last wrestled for WWE NXT in December 2020 and was officially released in May 2021. He was originally signed by WWE after being eliminated from the 2015 Tough Enough reality series season where he obviously showed the most passion for pro wrestling out of any of the contestants, but was still voted off the show. After a big push from WWE Hall of Famer Lita, WWE hired Clark, sending him to WWE NXT later that year.

Clark eventually debuted as The Velveteen Dream in 2017, a character obviously inspired in part by the late, great musician Prince and at the time, he went to great lengths to remain in character as much as possible when in the public eye. He quickly rose to prominence in NXT with a tremendous series of performances, looking every bit like a future Wrestlemania main event player. His work in the ring, nor his flair for performing, was ever in question.

That momentum sputtered, stalled and died after online allegations of Clark allegedly sending indecent images to underage boys through social media, a story that lit up after a Reddit user began posting screenshots and audio. Clark responded at the time, "Be assured I did not communicate inappropriately with anyone. A private photo of mine was shared without my consent or knowledge and I am working with a third party to look into this matter."

In speaking about the situation in August 2020 to CBS Sports, WWE's Paul Levesque commented, "You know, in this day today, accusations are made and you take them all very seriously. You look into them the best you can, and you find out what is there and what isn’t. In this situation, [Clark] was also involved in a car accident. That’s what took him off TV. In the moment, all this other stuff happens and you look into it and you find that there is a situation that people bring to everyone’s attention, you look into it and find that it is what it is and there’s nothing there. Everything that we have done, we are comfortable with him continuing to do what he does and everything else. But he had a car accident. It stemmed down to people thought we removed him from TV for different reasons. We didn’t. He was in a car accident. Once he was medically cleared to be able to return to the ring from his car accident, we continued forward the way we did. We looked into what was there and we didn’t find anything.”

While WWE looked into the allegations but found no cause for action, the situation never went away. Levesque was asked about the situation numerous times during NXT media calls to the point he made it clear he would no longer address the issue. At the same time, anti-Velveteen Dream trends exploded on social media, especially Twitter, whenever Clark did appear on television.

EDIT: Found his mug shot on another site:

Update from pwinsider.com:

As noted earlier on PWInsider.com, former WWE NXT star Patrick Clark was arrested in Florida on 8/26 for an out of county warrant for "possession of drug paraphernalia" in Florida.

However, a check of court records in Florida reveal this was not Clark's first arrest in the month of August.

Records indicate Clark was also arrested on 8/20 by Orlando Police for First Degree Battery and Trespassing on property after a warning, each of which are first degree misdemeanors. Clark bonded out on 8/21 for $1,200 and plead not guilty. He had an arraignment hearing for the charges against him scheduled for 9/28 at 1 PM EST but that court hearing is now listed as canceled. The victim in the case has requested confidentiality, according to the records.

The only other listing for Clark in the court records was for a March 2021 traffic infraction, which Clark paid a ticket on.
