After being put over Okada in a star making performance I think it would be a real bad idea for Jonah to leave New Japan because he's clearly going to be figured in at the top with a huge push. Also after a year or two of working with the top guys there he will almost surely improve greatly and up his stock for a big money WWE move.

Nah he should have Okada put him over again and leave. Rumor is Okada beating White for the title and I dont see Jonah being an IWGP champion

More potential ugly news for Riddle, either he is really dumb or a several women are jumping on the same storyline to try to drag him down. Either way he needs to get it together or he might find himself in the soup line with Velveteen Dream

Not sure this will move the needle much beyond what everyone already knows about him.

Dream was messaging minors, where as Riddle seems to like 3-ways and Damon Priest

I honestly thought he was a future star.
You weren’t wrong to think that based on what we know. In an alternative universe, he didn’t do all this *waves hands* stuff, and he’s on track to be a main eventer. Especially now with Vince gone.

He has size but... yeah that's about it.

He got better with time and he did got over at some point, but he never did anything for me.
He was white hot for an extremely brief run, and they waited too long to capitalize on it. Then he became champion and it was a total flop of a reign

He’s a big dude that has a decent power slam and a shoulder block. I don’t see the appeal in bringing him back, but I’ll give them the benefit of doubt for now and let it play out a bit

Braun is a great asset for WWE, I'm surprised they got rid of him the first time. Special attraction compared to the indie style shows, liked by kids.

Everyone was, he believed Vince would always take care of him. He was the victim of being paid too much given Vince had new toys to play with and doesn’t know what to do with giants when they get to the top.

Well that’s simple. You get a bigger giant to take care of it.

There has been no public comment from AEW or Black on this story but it is worth noting that Black is one of the names that Triple H pushed in NXT and WWE has reportedly reached out to several AEW talent in recent weeks. Dave Meltzer reported the following in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter about people who were contacted:

"Regarding the talent approached by WWE, as we noted last week it was multiple people, generally the people who had worked with Paul Levesque in the past in NXT. Several told AEW which led to the legal letter sent to Levesque, Stephanie and Nick Khan. There was at least one person who asked for his release, which hasn’t been granted and the person has a long time left on his deal."

I don’t doubt that he may see the grass greener with Hunter in charge. Vince pulled the rug out from him multiple times and wanted to go back to NXT (he contradicted himself when talking about it but I’m sure he saw Balor’s second run there and wanted a piece). Paul Heyman was high on him too, he every easily could’ve been champion during the pandemic. He wasn’t without support, he just didn’t have it from the right people, or at least enough of it.
