They always were. It didn’t start last night and it didn’t start last August either. Tony taking away booking and EVP powers is when we started hearing things. I remember saying at the time, things are going to happen but that had to stop right then and there and it obviously didn’t.

CM Punk cited the events around Brodie passing and how secretive everything was around it as a catalyst for why he wanted to come back. What changed that all this dirty laundry gets aired now? It’s not just around Punk, we’re hearing everything.

The speculation is Cody was "that guy" for a lot of dirty laundry/disagreement handling. Would make sense as to why apparently the inner circle of AEW were both glad he was gone (his booking was trash) and apparently very sad (they lose his PR/HR skills)

Tony has to do something to Punk since that fight claim from the sheets looks like it's legit. You can't just suspend Eddie Kingston for something similar and then decide Punk is above the law.

Problem for Tony Khan is that he can’t say NO to CM Punk, will not put his foot down.

What about suspending all of them?

The Bucks and Punk. Send a message. If Punk quits, so be it. Same for the Bucks.

There are no good guys here. Tony has to send a message and a loud one.

I didn’t know there was stuff with ko and punk.

I love ko.

Fun surprise for me- I’m from Vancouver but I’m on a boys trip just before covid to watch the Canucks in Toronto and Montreal and Ottawa. During the Habs game there is a stoppage and they start playing ko’s music. Big screen shows him there at the game and he gets a really good ovation.
Believe KO is from Montreal and got his start with IWS with El Generico and some others. Sexxxy Eddy was awesome.

Sounds like he will be back once college football wraps up. He said he considered trying to do both but WWE talked him out of it with it being too much.

I imagine it will just be Graves doing Smackdown in the meantime, but they should consider calling Wade up and have Nigel do NXT

Dude, at one point you actually said “oh, look… Ezekiel has a beard, they must have filmed this months ago” (While clearly having a fake beard) then arrogantly said “just like I predicted”

You don’t have a leg to stand on.
You actually took that seriously?

I wasn't. Jeez, I thought it was obvious. I mena Vince having a long term plan like that. :biglaugh:
You literally blamed it on “the stream” and said it must have been the quality when you were called out for it. You said “it looked real to me”

You’re lying. You were serious. I’m just saying, man.

Bro you gotta

Yeah, I'm working it out in my head now. One buddy mentioned it a couple months back when San Antonio was rumored, but I assumed it was going to be the following weekend since they used to always do it the week before the Super Bowl. Old college roommate also settled in San Antonio, so I could probably squeeze in a lunch the day after.

I don’t know where your home is and I do see that you seem to travel a lot, but being in Texas same week as a Paul Levesque first stab at a Royal Rumble? Ya go!

Sasha is finally talking

If you remember, she and Naomi walked out the same day Stephanie was speaking about basically how they own everyone and their characters and their IP.
