On the surface, it’s absolutely stupid that Shawn is GM of NXT while two dudes who, while they were important, were basically only indy guys are on the main shows.

I'm sure Shawn, or at least his wife, has minimal desire to travel weekly again.

When I was a server about 25 years ago, I waited on Lugar at a Cheesecake Factory. He was super nice to me, but many others say he was a total asshole behind the scenes. Is that true?

Don't disagree on Warrior. Guys like Bob Holly and JBL were assholes too plus all the guys who have done criminal stuff but I was referring more to the backstage stuff.

The thing where Davey was going to win the UK title in Manchester in front of his sister who was dying of cancer (and who he vowed to win it for knowing he was going over) and Shawn had the finish changed is something so sick, evil and depraved that I can't even comprehend just how horrible a person one would have to be to do it.

Has this ever been confirmed? Because all these years I assumed HBK going over was the original plan to give him massive heel heat (which it did). I just can't imagine him losing a big match like that at that time, as he had just turned heel and DX just started and he had big programs with Taker and Bret coming.

Yes it has. Do you seriously think Davey Boy publicly dedicates a match to his dying sister WITH HER IN ATTENDANCE if he wasn't told he was winning?

That could be true but from what I remember of the DSOTR episode on Benoit it made him seem like a fairly good guy prior to the murders but very intense. They might have just left those details out of the episode though.

No but you are assuming I knew any of that was ever confirmed.

Although I don't know if Davey Boy was the greatest person. I wouldn't put it past anyone in those days.

Gionna Daddio, who we know as WWE star Liv Morgan, was arrested on Thurs., Dec. 14, 2023, in Florida, for possession of synthetic cannabinoid, possession of marijuana (not more than 20 grams) and possession of drug equipment, according to Villages-News. She was booked and released after posting bond later that night.

The arrest report indicates her jeep was spotted driving erratically, crossing over roadway lines enough times that she was pulled over. When the policeman approached her vehicle, he could smell marijuana. He then found a “small plastic bag” and a vape pen containing an oil-like substance that was tested and turned out to be marijuana.

PW Insider reports she is slated to be arraigned on Feb. 12, 2024, at 9 am at the Sumter County Courthouse, and that the various charges are punishable by up to one year in jail, up to one year of probation, and a fine of $1,000.

Morgan has been off WWE television dating all the way back to May due to a shoulder injury.
