Interesting it is x-rays and not MRI. Might indicate something potentially broken or dislocated versus ligament damage. Possibly tibial plateau fractures and patella fractures but who knows.

Danielson's fining people for Tweets?

Tony's about to have a "major announcement" on Dynamite that he signed Stevie Richards, Ivory, and Val Venis, and they're gonna form a stable with Danielson.

... Please somebody catch this reference.

Not much of a surprise, but Punk being back and on RAW has added a major wrinkle to negotiations over RAW's TV rights
Wrestlenomics reports that last Friday's "SmackDown" drew 2.384 million viewers and 0.63 in the coveted 18-49 demo. Both numbers were up strongly from last week, with total viewers rising 17% from last week's 2.044 million, while 18-49 rose 7% from last week's 0.59. The good news didn't stop there, however, with Friday's show drawing the highest total viewership number since October 6, and the highest 18-49 number since October 13.

As for Punk's effect on the numbers, he does appear to have been a big help. The "polarizing and controversial" WWE star's promo, which took place in QH5, drew 2.467 million viewers, and a show-high 0.69 (904,000 viewers) in 18-49. The numbers represent a good sign that interest in the former AEW and WWE Champion is still strong, which is good news for Monday's episode of "WWE Raw."

That's just for Smackdown.

By all accounts Shawn has massively mellowed over the years
Oh, I think he's pretty decent guy now. I was just referring to his heyday in the 90's. I will say that both guys despite their faults are two of the best wrestlers ever imo.

Oh yeah, 90s Shawn was one of the biggest assholes in wrestling history.

Anyway there are rumors that Punk's ultimate goal is to take Shawn's place at NXT, though that would be far down the road as word is there is zero plans for HBK to give up the book.

Seems like quite a leap from two weeks ago everyone saying Punk will be lucky to last 6 months to now he is an heir apparent for NXT, maybe he is just trying to show he can be a good veteran employee

It does seem to be something Punk wants as there was a lot of talk when he first got to AEW that he wanted to help mentor and train the younger guys and he was hanging around paying attention to how the production side was working as well.

Time will tell

My comments stems from HBK praising Punk's understanding of the business, "he gets it".

It'd be fitting considering they're the two biggest divas(douchebags would work here too) in wrestling history.

There have been way bigger turds in the wrestling business.

F***. Hulk Hogan.

Heyman said years ago that when Punk was sent to OVW years ago and both felt he was too good to be there, he focused on the production side of the show.

Saw a comment the other day that said AEW made Punk realize why WWE had all the structure he hated.

... Probably a lot of truth to that.

Ole Dave is claiming Punk's signing has "Opened a door that was closed" regarding WBD's interest in RAW. Also says that Punk being booked for the house show in LA is deliberate, as they expect executives interested in RAW's rights to be at the house show.

I don't expect WBD to pick up RAW, (Though I think it makes a tremendous amount of sense based on their schedule) but it would be absolutely f***ing hilarious if Tony firing Punk caused WBD to divert from AEW to WWE.

I think Shawn could move to a main roster role, maybe take over from Brother Love and run Smackdown. Co-CCO type with Hs? There's been more stories of Punk being backstage at NXT for multiple shows/days, helping the younger talent etc.
