I could have swore I read that she was all but signed.SRS says the odds of Mercedes going back to WWE has gone up and that whatever working plan AEW had with her in August is no longer an active plan.

To which? I can't keep track of rumors anymoreI could have swore I read that she was all but signed.

I know I bag on AEW a lot, but there's pretty much 0 reason she should be going with AEW over WWE.
Her whole reason for leaving was frustration over Vince's inconsistent booking reaching a boiling point, and that's not a problem with Triple H. WWE's women's roster is a country mile ahead of AEW's.
We're currently at a point where AEW has two, maybe three women with legitimate "Star" potential. (Britt Baker, Toni, and maybe Saraya) And one of them just went on Twitter to publicly bash Tony for giving her zero promo time this year. WWE, Sasha gets to work with Rhea/Becky/Charlotte/Bianca/Bayley/Asuka/IYO, and potentially Jade and Tiffany Stratton in the future. I know she's already worked with the majority of them, but who they hell is she working with in AEW?
Going to AEW would give her the chance to finish Saraya off once and for all
As for a somewhat serious answer I would guess the only reasons to pick AEW over WWE would be the "Freedom" that the performers are afforded to do what they want moreso than doing what they are asked or told to do, as well as the lighter schedule
Freedom yes. But if TKO starts cutting house shows, WWE may not be that much worse than AEW schedule-wise.
Freedom only gets you so far though. Sasha gets guaranteed TV time nearly every week on WWE. Meanwhile one of AEW's biggest female stars (Like the smartest kid on the short bus, I know) is complaining about barely being featured.
Regarding finishing Saraya off... I can see Sasha coming back to WWE and doing a feud with Shinsuke... She has a history of a bad back.![]()
The only reason at this point, potentially, is money.Yeah WWE may be cutting the house shows, and I didn't really read the story very closely so I may be way off but I thought I had read they were going to be cutting out more of the smaller shows as they weren't as profitable, could that possible mean more shows in the larger cities? Maybe more trips overseas?
There really isn't a great reason for her to pick AEW over WWE at this point, it makes the most sense to go back, but stranger things have happened
From a sports betting viewpoint, shouldn't he say that the odds have come down? Because if it's more likely that she's going back to WWE, then betting odds will have gone down.SRS says the odds of Mercedes going back to WWE has gone up and that whatever working plan AEW had with her in August is no longer an active plan.
This isn’t sports betting. From a sports betting viewpoint, shouldn't he say that the odds have come down? Because if it's more likely that she's going back to WWE, then betting odds will have gone down.
Yeah but saying odds going up mean it's less likely. "The odds of manager X getting fired have come down" is how it's reported here in Europe. Now had he said "chances of her returning to WWE have gone up", then it would've sounded more accurate. At least to me.This isn’t sports betting.
It would have been even better if he did in both official languages. I guess that would have made it an announce majeur.I, for one, am shocked they let this leak and didn't advertise it as a "Major announcement" from Tony Khan tonight.
Keep her away from WWE. She's terrible and the product has been better without Midcedes.
is this another heel turn or
