Yeah, just an absolute joke. Said from the beginning that they’re ridding the company of anything that made NXT good. This NXT currently is the drizzling shits, so yeah, they’re doing their part. I guess.

f*** this company, and f*** whoever continuously defends them.

They literally had Bron Breakker break (no pun intended) the old NXT logo last night.

It’s a shame for Jade that people like NextBigThing are going to take away the spotlight of her winning and saying they only gave it to her because of what recently happened.

I don’t care for Cargil. But she has clearly been set up as the dominant force in the women’s division for months now

Yes because if not for the tweets, Ruby Soho was going to be the first one to beat Jade Cargill.

Meh, I figured she was the odds on favourite even when this was first announced. I don’t like it, though.

it had to be her or Ruby from the start. Seems like they'll take the long route with Ruby chasing Brit Baker for a while, which is ok for now.

Dislocated elbow for Rey Fenix. No break or structural damage.

Hell baby
That is incredibly fortunate. Shouldn’t be super difficult to recover from then.

Especially considering watching that injury was almost fatal to me. Totally love the broadcast missing it and going with showing it on replay

Scotty was asked what WWE is looking for in talent today:

“Well, it might be different now. But when I left there a month ago, they want young. I know that they are doing tryouts for people who have never done this. They are hiring all these college athletes. I have always said that you can’t teach passion, and you need passion to do this. No matter how much money you’re making, if you’re on the road doing 200 shows a year and you’re traveling, which adds about 50 days, you are looking at 250 to 300 days a year on the road. No matter what you’re making in money, you need passion. I think at some point it will swing back the other way and they will go, ‘Where are the men at? We need men’, and then you will see a bunch of guys come in who are a little bit older and more experienced. Putting green on green on live television can be dangerous.”

Scotty 2 Hotty says seeing all of the WWE releases took a big toll on him

So yeah, the future for the old NXT talent is not looking good. Most of them don't fit WWE's new direction and Vince seemingly has no interest in them......Io Shirai being one of them, why she's still in developmental after 3 and a half years I will never know, she's really wasting her prime years in that company.

Lol Cargill is green as hell and I'm not a fan but she's been booked strong and was obviously winning that title the whole time. The timing of the finals was just unfortunate.

Appears to be an impending change to the AEW battle of the belts card due to ‘medical protocol’ announced on Rampage

Seth Rollins was to win the WWE title at Day 1 before plans obviously changed according to Dave

They probably like the idea of being able to take credit for their development and success too. WWE has never liked people getting over by themselves. I feel like that's why you see so many NXT call ups get stripped of their uniqueness and given stupid names, songs, and attire.
