They f***ing changed WALTER’s name. They did it, they just couldn’t resist.

He’s done.

It's either Gunther or Gunther Stark.

from today's pwinsider.com:

WWE has already abandoned their trademark filing on the name Gunther Stark.

WWE filed that they had abandoned the registration of the trademark yesterday, 1/19.

As noted yesterday on PWInsider.com, the trademark registration blew up in WWE's face on both social media and with a number of mainstream outlets in the United States and internationally. The Gunther Stark name, devised as the new ring name for the former WALTER, was identical to a Nazi U-Boat Commander in World War II.

WWE moved forward with WALTER's new ring name this past Tuesday, instead using "Gunther" without the last name.

Rey Fenix is targetting a mid-February return.

Eddie Kingston has a broken orbital bone and is hoping to be back in 3 weeks.

Tony must be loving the move to TBS. He now gets a huge lead in with "The Big Bang Theory". On Wednesday they had a lead in audience of 1.72 million viewers. Unfortunately, 120 minutes later they plummeted to 947,000 viewers. The quarter hour breakdown shows the program steadily declined throughout the 2 hours.

I'm also curious to see how RAW performs in the coming weeks. First time in months they don't have to compete with football. The last two weeks were against the National Championship and NFL playoff game which both drew massive numbers.

Don't worry Bruce, Vince won't fire you this time.

WWE does draw like that in some places. It’s not talked about because it isn’t news. It was news in New York because it was New York.

When WWE had a poor showing at MSG all the AEW fanboys here were giggling like schoolgirls over it. Now AEW draws flies and there's not a peep about it. Funny how that works.

Is your generalization of "AEW fanboys" really reacting to poor WWE attendance? Or was it literally just like 2 people on here reacting to it?

WWE dumps a bunch of new characters on TV, sends the talent who helped get the brand over packing, can’t understand why people aren’t watching and beyond that, blames the fans for not liking it/not caring.

Fan perception = People see the product is really bad.

Could be. But hard to say since he never stays anywhere. His deal was originally through New Japan.
