The Buffalo Sabres might as well be the Manhattan Project of the east. In a couple of years, they are going to nuke everyone.

If the Sabers GM is really good, he will flip Chris Stewart for another 1st round pick, and a future pick.

Like 1st 2014/3rd 2015.

it better not…. If he sees a trade that will make the team better he will do it…. I will be pissed if he makes a knee jerk trade because of this and end up screwing or future

I don't know, the main reason we trample the Blues is because their goaltending sucked lol. So who knows.

Man Ehrhoff would look damn good next to Doughty.

Like Williams and Kopitar, poetry in motion.

Ehrhoff is a freaking Monster on the PP too.

The Nucks PP went to shi$t when Ehrhoff left.

I'll miss heckling Elliot though because his name was perfect for that chant. Not a chance he gets a shot in the Playoffs with Miller around.

Pure gold.

I would keep Stewart, he has struggled and is inconsistent but only a few players in the league share that combination of skill and toughness...namely Lucic and Simmonds.

It would be awesome if Quick beat Miller in the WCF!!

We can hope so, otherwise we'll never hear the end of "see Miller > Quick."

And I really hope the team-swapping theory comes into play, too (i.e. look at what Miller is doing on Buffalo, he's gonna have like a .985% somewhere else! Quick is doing okay on the Kings, he'd be like .850 on buffalo, lolz).

Christian Ehrhoff has submitted his 8 team list of (don't trade me too).

Buffalo looking to move him.

Chicago vs Blues in the playoffs is going to be epic.

Oh yeah. The only problem is the Central outside of STL isn't that physical, and whoever comes out of the Pacific is gonna be nice and bruised, as usual!

And to whoever it was said this provides urgency to DL, I think not. If you have to count on other teams to force your hand, it's a panic move.

Bob McKenzie reporting.

That the Sabers might flip Stewart (Ottawa) and Halak (Wild).

WOW Awesome job by Sabers GM if that goes down.

Strong move by the Blues... Stewart was a ghost every time he played the Kings in the playoffs and Miller should be an upgrade over Halak.

an excellent return for Buffalo, and the Blues just catapulted into the top 4 contenders for the cup imo.

It's a risky move more so than a strong move. Heck, both Miller and Ott are pending ufas. Unless the Blues win the cup, or re-sign both or minimally Miller, they've lost this trade by a mile.

*crosses fingers*

Agreed. That team just became a lot scarier.

I can't wait to see what we do and what everyone else does to adjust. The Ducks have been surprisingly quiet. I don't think SJ does much unless they pick up a d-man too.

I don't think the Blues will have a problem resigning Miller/OTT.

The Blues are a strong, young team. Far enough East to have not as much travel as the rest of the West minus Chicago.

I also hope Buffalo keeps Ted Nolan, he is a damn good coach.
