Erhoff - Doughty
Mitchell - Voynov
Martinez - Greene

Jake Muzzin...Somewhere else.

Yessir.

It's a risky move more so than a strong move. Heck, both Miller and Ott are pending ufas. Unless the Blues win the cup, or re-sign both or minimally Miller, they've lost this trade by a mile.

True, but I'm thinking Miller gets a contract in his hands as soon as he steps off the plane. With that trade they had better re-sign him. But I don't see why he wouldn't agree, there won't be a better team after his services than the Blues.

It's a ballsy move that's for sure and they paid a premium to get it done. Time will tell but to me, Miller is better in goal and Ott is gonna find a way to contribute even if he isn't scoring, unlike Stewart who in my opinion isn't much of a loss.

If Buff got that much in return for 2 pending ufas, could you imagine what they'd be asking for Ehrhoff???

Yikes!!!

Probably a First round pick, and a good high end prospect.

Maybe a future pick as well. Buffalo will probably get it too.

O snap I passed 10k posts and didn't even notice it.

1st rounder, young roster player and top prospect is usually how those things go, if Ehrhoff is as good as I think he is. Can't say I've watched him play much since he moved out East.

Ehrhoff Is good, he is also a very skilled QB on the PP.

He would help the Kings PP out a lot. Doughty is just not a good PP QB.

The Canucks PP went to garbage when Ehrhoff left.

Stewart's got the tools, he just seems to have a bad attitude and/or lacks the effort night after night. It could very well be an addition by subtraction for the Blues.

Yep. He's signed for a logn time too so it's not a rental.

Muzzin+Pearson+1st, possibly higher, since lots of teams in the mix I'm sure.

I don't know, if I had a choice, I still think I'd go for the LW first.

There just isn't a LW out there worth it.

Moulson just doesn't strike me as that much of a difference maker, same as Vanek.

Vanek is not going to sign with the Kings, he is set on Minny.

His wife is from Minny, he has a home there...

Ehrhoff would help with the PP too, the PP is going to cost the Kings a series if you ask me.

I think minny is more set in getting defense instead of offense. Minny is set offensively, if they are gonna make a splash it's gonna be defense.

A deal where the Kings get an upgrade on the blue line is one that Muzzin could be included in, and losing Pearson isn't a big deal.

Ehroff Doughty
Regehr Voynov
Martinez Mitchell

Greene

is pretty good. It would be even better if we could get them to take Martinez instead of Muzzin.

Best part about this trade is the Kings are done playing the Blues this year.

Until the playoffs anyway. Pretty decent shot of a 1st round match up between the Blues and Kings. Think the Kings match up better against the Blues (with or without Miller) than against the Ducks or Blackhawks.

I would rather give up a 1st round pick + for Ehrhoff.

Moulson doesn't strike me as a guy that's going to make that big of an impact.

Vanek is a pure rental, he is not going to sign with the Kings.

Get Doughty that partner, improve the transition game and the PP.

What huge hole? I'm pretty certain we won a cup with the same "huge hole". Like I said, Lombardi doesn't overpay, and acquiring Ehrhoff would require overpayment.

So RR for Two Second Rounders is not an over payment?

Moulson is the perfect front of the net presence who can find pucks in the slot/crease and do a better job than Penner at finding the back of the net. I think he could work well with Kopitar or Richards.

I'd love to see them try to get both Ehrhoff and Moulson out of Buffalo. Lombardi knows both players well and I think they'd be a great deal of help for a deep playoff run.
